Hi eds just like to hear your views on Henderson, getting the captains armband, getting a 100k a week contract, and besides doing a lot of huffing n puffing what he actually offers as a centre mid, would he get into any of the top 4 midfields? For me our team lacks power strength and as Bren would say character as in leaders like alonso gerrard agger reina Suarez carra and so on . It's like to hear fans views on the likes of hendo as captain and who else they see stepping up to the plate, thanks

Senseless post! Players are potentially jumping ship and the one who has the passion and belief to wanna stay and work is getting slated. If you like the past so much, you can move there and hang out with all these old guys and leave the rest of us to work on the future of our great club.

I must've imagined our unbeaten run whilst he was captain then.
Not to mention his 7 goals and 15 assists this season.
Just like Lucas, Hendo is massively under rated and there is a reason Rodgers shocking tactics were covered up when those two played in central midfield together for a couple of months. Probably our 2 best players and they seem to get constant stick because they're not quite as fancy as Coutinho or Sturridge.
Henderson has 3 times the assists of Coutinho who is dubbed a creative genius.
Just to clarify, I'm not criticising Couts either. If we played a midfield 3 of Lucas Holding, Hendo getting up and down with Coutinho in the advanced position we'd be winning a lot of games. Sadly, Rodgers prefers Coutinho out of position at left wing, Henderson at right wing back to accommodate Gerrard and Allen, and Lucas in the stands on the phone to Inter Milan.
Jesus that man knows how to misuse his best assets.

Clearly BR is out of his depth and doesn't know his best players. But if he stays on beond the last game then the blame has to lie with fsg qs they should now know it's time to get rid of him.

Henderson has been unfortunate to be a player who's been moved about constantly throughout the season. I remember against Arsenal him playing as a right centre back it seemed at times. Last season he was fantastic and he should be one of the first players on the team sheet with Lucas. As for captain if he doesn't get it, Lucas should although that'll never happen. Lallana and Sakho only other two I could think long term. Knowing Rodgers Joe Allen will probably get it for his fantastic character
