Hi, not sure which Ed it was, but I remember a few months back one of you spoke about Liverpool's lack of corporate social responsibility and how far behind Everton we are in terms of giving back etc. Sounds stupid but do you have any proof on the matter? I'm writing a final year piece on Liverpool and their need for regional sponsors and partners i. e charities and I think what you said would be a great fit I just need to reference it somehow! And I don't think "Ed said so" would go down well with my lecturer!

Cheers in advance.

Redgrant

{Ed001's Note - proof? Surely your job is to do the research not mine? You can go find out exactly what they do for charity by a quick bit of reading on the two club's websites. How Everton do so much, while Liverpool do pretty much nothing, it is very easy to find out. I shouldn't even need to tell you this if you are in your final year, being honest.}

Looks like Ed001 could start up a lucrative side-business writing dissertations for lazy students! 10p a word would be a good start, and an invite to your graduation if you have any cute girls in your year.

Ed001; my maths homework is due on monday morning and i can't be bothered, would a dib-dab, a quarter of rubarb and custard and a minnie milk do it for u?
Ill sort u out next week i promise.
Ps mr bronson has it in for me, so if u can't do it, let me know and ill ask ziggy or roland to bail me out.

Sandon mate what about Zammo?

4.) 04 Mar 2017 14:20:15
Disnt he overdose, or get a dose. i can't remember lad.

5.) 04 Mar 2017 15:50:17
Come on Ed, don't "good" students collect research from a wide range of sources? I've obviously checked the club websites etc. and done plenty of research myself including reading countless dull journals and I'm a few thousand words in on the topic however you seemed to be quite well informed on the subject so I thought I'd ask if there was anything you'd seen or heard of in particular that I could look into. Just asking for a bit of advice if you had any for me, not to write the thing.

{Ed001's Note - I put up a picture of a letter received by a friend from LFC when she asked for items to auction for charity. Man Utd sent a signed ball and other bits and pieces with certificates of authenticity, LFC said pee off. They support only their own foundation and nothing else. Everton give to all sorts of causes, just remember that little lad who was a Sunderland mascot. Plus they do a lot in the community. Liverpool, on the other hand, had to be publicly shamed just to stop them having the S*n in the ground!}

Cheers Ed, I seemed to remember something about a letter, that's jogged my memory now, I'll have a look through the site and track it down, really good example of how other clubs are so far ahead of us! I find it disgusting how Everton, amongst a few others clubs, are just as focused on promoting and gaining exposure for their charities as they are for their big global partners, whereas all we seem to give a t**s about is Dunkin Donuts! Massive worry.

Redgrant, it's called "Research Triangulation. "

Sincerely,
MA Student.

Ziggy is a legend.

Loved the scenes at the end when the cameras picked up on Woodburn and Trent were celebrating with each other.

The future of LFC? Sincerely hope so.

2.) 30 Nov 2016 02:28:31
How did Ejaria do ed001? I didn't get to catch the game, only highlights. I would imagine those 2 and Ejaria are the future, but I don't see a place for Stewart. Strange contract extension that one, considering how many players we have in midfield.

{Ed001's Note - Ejaria did ok, some lovely pieces of skill, but sometimes needed to release the ball quicker. Something he needs to learn.

As for Stewart, we have no one like him, other than Lucas, proper defensive protection.}

3.) 30 Nov 2016 06:28:33
Ejaria was wasteful in possession and misplaced passings. Don't shoot me down. But I kinda like it because the lad is always looking for a forward pass and not sideways and backways.
Stewart was poor.

4.) 30 Nov 2016 07:44:02
we might lose lucas, keeping stewart may be a smart decision if you ask me.

5.) 30 Nov 2016 08:36:34
Lucas reads the game better than anyone else in the team and by some mile. The one interception he made in the second half in the middle of the pitch was just world class. if he had some pace.

6.) 30 Nov 2016 11:37:03
I think Stewartdid well, proper defensive protection.
Ejaria will learn with time didn't to bad as well.

7.) 30 Nov 2016 11:53:51
After the spurs cup game Klopp said Stewart is there because he is the best player in the squad at 1v1's and tackling/ challenging.

8.) 30 Nov 2016 17:55:13
I was not impressed with Ejaria but he will learn and improve as he has the talent, for sure.

It's come out in the news today that my family members has signed for the academy (Jason Koumas's son) . All I know is he turned down all the big clubs including five figure sums, private education for the siblings and housing arrangements. He was signed on Robbie F's recommendation so hopefully big things ahead for the lad!

1.) 09 Nov 2016 15:06:20
good luck to the lad.

2.) 09 Nov 2016 20:06:22
Turned down all the big clubs? There's no club bigger than LFC 😎
Good decision by the lad, talent and brains! 🏆.

3.) 09 Nov 2016 21:10:30
Well done son. YNWA.

4.) 10 Nov 2016 00:08:16
Any tickets then😉👌.

5.) 10 Nov 2016 11:35:10
Congrats to the lad and hope he does well. Also well said Ron.

Just heard the online transfer process computer is having technical problems meaning some transfers may be completed after the deadline. Agent Ayre strikes again.

I've heard that Ayre is stuck in Ukraine as he has refused to pay the £40 baggage charge with Ryan Air, he is searching for a second hand Harly to try and make it in time although Kono is refusing to hold Ayres waist. This will come down to the wire.
