I have a problem with what BR says in press. Before the transfer window, he says that we are working on bringing 2, 3 players in and we need to strengthen. Then he refuses to accept salah has signed for Chelsea. Further he says we are still working on bringing players. Does he know what he is saying? IMO he is relying too much on our scouts to get him reqd players but this department has clearly let us down.

My view of our squad defensively is that apart from Lucas our players are not positionally sound. They rush forward or sideways too much. When one player looses position others rush to cover leaving their own position and creating huge spaces. Over the years we've had fantastic positional players masch, xabi, carra, Sami etc. the player who would be realistically available to sort our problems will be bender of BVB.The lad is wonderful at covering and adding stability and would improve our play by keep things ticking.

Just a shout for big Sammy leading his team to victory against BVB at their own home. Watched the game and you've got to say his team nullified them brilliantly and showed great grit and determination in open play. For a team loosing their beat player in schürrle and with low spending, that was a brilliant performance and are only 4 points behind Bayern.we'd do with some of the same away at Chelsea, spurs and city.

Anyone else frustrated BR spends quite some money for fringe players(Alberto, Aspas, Borini) and even our loaned in players have been woeful(Moses, cissokho, sahin).i want him to spend like £20+million on some established 25odd year old player who would instantly improve our starting 11.For that I think Claudio Marchisio or Yohan Cabaye would be ideal. Would add loads of creativity, goals, discipline and stability to our midfield. What I don't want is him to spend 10-12 mil pounds on someone like Xhaka or will Hughes with our current woes not being solved. After all we are in the race for top four and we need refreshment I our squad or we'll again be thereabouts.There is No need to spend heavy on wingers since we don't play with that system.Also we need a defensive mid to challenge Lucas and would anyone want to have Alex song?

For me gerrard is the main culprit in our midfield defensively. Teams have a go on us through the centre knowing that one positional mistake from gerrard and they are right through on cbs.this happened a lot in derby and mediocre hull.Lucas for me does his job really well and protects gerrard on many occasions and even Henderson gets drifted from his positions a lot.Another huge concern for me is form of Sterling in 2013 . I mean what has happened to the lad.He has been very poor, last year he was taking on defenders, putting crosses and playing passes to Suarez but now he seems lost. Wonder what confidence does to players!
