Haven’t posted in a long long time but have been looking at this site for years now.

Not sure when ed025 came on but what a breath of fresh air. Some very funny replies and some very true stuff being said. Genuinely enjoy his remarks.

On another note personally I believe Everton lead the way off the pitch for causes and the community. Can say what you like about their footballing side but their dedication off the pitch is second to none.

Just a little sad really that this is a great opportunity for football in general to show itself in a really good light and yet again we are talking about things in a negative manner.

Liverpool FC have got a lot right this season but I feel where and when it’s mattered most off the pitch they haven’t got it right. That feeling between the supporters and the club should be in unison and on some things it’s proven that we are still not on the same page quite yet.

A shame really. There’s still time for something to be done about it, however, they should already know by now what course of action should have been taken.

As for the actual football it’s been a joy for the last few years. You could see the progression bit by bit and yes, some large sums of money were needed to fill in those places required to take us to the next level but in my eyes so be it. Liverpool FC tried for years to buy at a cheaper rate and when it came to a consistent level they couldn’t sustain it. A good cup side for years I would say. This was previous to FSG Hicks and Gillet and so on.

I mean on this site May were crying for David Silva and the likes. Even previous to that the Anelka signing was missed to sign someone utterly vile. So in my eyes if that’s what it took to get what was required then so be it.

Obviously we have had more than a little luck. Say what you like but nobody expected Mo Salah to do what he’s done. He’s been an absolute great for Liverpool so far no doubt about it. Mane also. The player I really really like is Firmino for shear vision and hard work. But without the goalkeeper and the defender all that can go up in smoke so it’s a fine team we’ve got. The midfield run themselves ragged and to have players like Milner and Henderson about the place only adds to the professionalism.

It’s a great blend at the moment. Trick is to add to it without unbalancing it.

Also, does anyone know what has happened to Shaqiri? A seriously good player on his day but has dropped out of match day squads.

Wherever happens it will be good to have football back and I will enjoy watching them again. That’s for sure.

All the best to those on the site.

I've just been reading some Waro comments on here, I haven't posted for a rubbish load of time, I was posting regularly when Hodgeson was in charge of us, i'd like to ask what he made of all that?!

We have rode our luck a little bit in the last couple of games, (Silva chance v City and a header straight at Mignolet v Norwich) in the Norwich game in particular we had other chances to score as well.

The league table doesn't lie, we are there on merit, as the season draws to an end and we get closer the players must feel they don't want to slip and we get more behind the ball.

We are capable of beating anyone with the players we have and we have shown it.

Only a few games to go, so let's try and stay positive! As with every team, things can be improved and i'm sure the summer work will be done to do so.
