Does anybody else think we ought to be protecting luis? I would be bringing him off as soon as the job is done with 3 points in the bag we really need to keep him wrapped in cotton wool, especially with Sturbridge out. We have had plenty of opportunities to pull him off after 60 minutes this season, especially since the hull defeat. I just don't understand leaving him on the full 90mins every game. I really hope we get through the season without him or the current midfield getting injured.

Skirtl is becoming a liability in defence from set pieces! He does look however amazing on the ball and can see why he has kept agger out, but if he does not stop this persistant fouling, holding and shirt pulling in the box he will cost us big time, all the commentators are picking up on it, it's been the same for the last 4-5 games. It won't be long before he's a marked man by referees, Jose mourinho will certainly announce his concerns before we play them so the ref will be looking out for him!

I'd like to say what a good player sterling is looking, I for one never seen this coming from the lad, I was calling for his head every time I saw him play. But very well done to him, he really does look the part!

Great team performance once again, great 1 touch football to break Cardiff down, Liverpool of old would not of managed it, so things really looking good!

Massively disappointed with the result yesterday but that just goes to show how far we've come, being disappointed with a point away to Newcastle.

I do think it was clear how much we miss Enrique when he's not playing, he's the most direct wide man we have. I'm certain we would have tested them a lot more with him on the pitch! Is he injured?, I never found out.

Also, love Suarez unselfishness up top, top class assist.
is he 100% fit though. He looks abit slower than last season?

I see a lot of posters thinks our defence was a little ropey on saturdayI don't think it's really centre backs were lacking. Saturday mignolets shop stopping was awesome and saved us, but he never commanded the box like I thought he would when he signed. He punches and flaps a little at crosses, he put the defence under pressure with his distribution aswell. I think he will come on, but he needs to quickly learn to command the area from crosses. He could easily of cost us points on sat but obviously ended up delivering the points. There is a fine line from hero to zero as goalkeeper, luckily he was the former. Onwards and upwards you red men!

Hi Eds and Reds, how do you rate podolski? would he be good enough for us as part of the suarez deal, he looked good to me last year, granted I never watched many arsenal games. I think he might be less of a gamble than Costa. {Ed002's Note - But there has been no interest shown in him by Liverpool.}
