A question for ed 002 if you don't mind. Few weeks ago you said Ruben Neves could move to the premier league in january but liverpool have no interest in him. Has the situation changed? A lot of media outlets have said we've watched Neves recently. And if we do have interest in him, will he be interested in joining us because it seems that a lot of top clubs around europe seem to be after him. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

{Ed002's Note - Although Porto have told both Juventus and Chelsea that Ruben Neves is not for sale, he will still likely be subject to a January offer from Chelsea as interest grows from Juventus, Manchester City, PSG and Real Madrid. Real Madrid are also likely to make a January offer, but I do not know if his buy out clause can be activated by a Spanish side and I would doubt they would want to pay that much for him. Whilst Porto would have to listen to any outrageous offer, they really don't want to sell. I think any move in January is most unlikely. For the first time this season Liverpool had scouts at a Porto match (against Maccabi Tel Aviv), I don't know who they were looking at as several Porto players are attracting attention (Martins Indi, Brahimi and Neves) but it is perfectly possible they were looking at him.}

Hi eds, with all the fuss about monaco spending big this summer I sat down in front of my telly and watched them against montpellier recently. I was really impressed with the Belgian kid yannick ferreira carrasco. Do any clubs have interest in him, he seems like a great talent. Any information will be appreciated
Cheers!
YNWA. {Ed001's Note - they are not looking to sell him.}

lads and lassies, been on this site since it was a wee little blue page but never predicted an outcome for a game before, but one of the biggest game of our lives (hopefully there are more to come) is upon us and I am too anxious so I will just let it out of my system. I have a feeling that we will win this 1-0 with Dejan Lovren scoring the winner. I know the scoreline is unlike us but when have we done things the normal way anyway? Hope everyone has a great weekend. and also I want to thank the eds (macca as well) for all their work and I would like to remember some old posters from way back in the day in case they are still lurking on this site like me ( particularly Blair Maine and jonson6). Hopefully the boys will bring us the trophy. Love.

I’m going for 3-0 to Liverpool with young Andy Robertson scoring the first goal.
Experience or not. I think we’ll run the legs off them!

Is it weird I had a dream we won 1 nil with Milner scoring.

{Ed025's Note - nice dream max, hardly martin luther king but a nice dream anyway mate.. :)

Mad max, everyone should have a dream, mine was 3-2 on Tuesday night, so I have £10 riding on that at 22-1, who knows.
Sadie Mane or Firmino 1st goal too, 9-1 and 15-2 respectively so £5 on each of them. Currently in Kiev and a large bottle of beer costs 9 Hyrvnia which equates to 30p so if any of the above come in, I may not be back to the homeland for some time!

3-1 all scored in the first 20 mins. Come on the lads.

"Consistency" this will be a major factor in determining where will we finish this season. People can argue as much as they like about our squad not being on par with the likes of chelsea, mancity, united, spurs, arsenal and to a certain extent I agree with that, but the league consists of 13 other teams as well, that's 78 points. I'm not saying we will win them all, what i'm trying to say is if we have players who believe in each other and give their all for the sake of the team and put performances that they are capable of on a consistent level then we can achieve anything. Just look at united, they don't have world class individuals for every position, some of them are average at best but what they have is that belief in themselves as well as their teammates, that's why they are so successful. It was the same with us while we were on top. I just want to see Liverpool becoming a major force again.
I know every Liverpool fans are hurtin when we are not mentioned as title contenders, when we are not on that champions league draw, when top players are not linked to us but that's part of life. So in times like these rather than having a go at each other, slagging off players before playing a single game of a season is not the way forward. We have to stick together and believe in our team so that they can believe in themselves and give their all. We fans had two choices at half time on that night at Istanbul, we made the right choice and we all know what happened next. I hope this season we make the right choices.

I hate to say this but old whisky nose was right when he said suarez will drag the clubs name through mud.I don't know if he was just trying to wind us up with his mind games or simply telling the truth but he was right in the end. If suarez does end up at arsenal I hope we spend the money on quality players and pip arsenal to forth spot, now that would definitely be worth celebrating like we won a trophy ;)
Cheers!
