I'm so happy that we've been signing players so early. Once the transfer window opens, they'll officially be Liverpool players and can start pre-season training. I really hope Aspas, Toure, Luis Alberto and even Mignolet signing early gives them the opportunity to gel with the rest of the squad and adopt BR's style of play faster. This is very crucial to getting a good start to the season and hopefully we can push for Top 4 and beyond.

To all of you pessimistic posters who think we are not going anywhere signing young unproven squad players, think of the big picture. BR is building up a talented and versatile squad with players who play in a fluid system. If we sell Suarez (we probably will), we'll no longer have a "main man" who we look to and rely on to dig us out of trouble. Gone are the days of having 1 or 2 superstars in the team where everyone else merely plays a supporting role. In recent years, we used to depend on the brilliance of Torres, Gerrard and most recently Suarez.

This used to be fine, but think of the days when these superstars have gone off the boil. Every top player has off days. Remember how we were so poor and hopeless when Suarez was performing poorly? This is exemplified in our 3-1 defeats to Southampton and Aston Villa (correct me if I'm wrong).

Next season, we'll have so many players who can produce moments of brilliance to turn a match around. We have Coutinho, Sturridge, Borini (he's not that bad, his performances for the Italy's U21s were decent), Aspas, Alberto, Downing, Suso and Sterling ( they both should go out on loan IMO) and maybe Mkhitaryan and Atsu.

The point I'm trying to get at is that we don't have to rely on a player anymore. If 1 or 2 players are having a bad game, BR has plenty of options at his disposal. With all these players being so versatile, he could switch their positions around or bring on players from the bench to change the game. All these technical players have the ability to make a difference and this is what I'm looking forward to.

I genuinely believe that we can achieve Top 4 next season and hopefully push for the title in 3-4 years. I feel that Liverpool is a sleeping giant that has been underperforming for far too long (with the exception of the short-lived Benitez era). BR is the manager to take us forward and hopefully he succeeds.

Hope we beat the Bitters today! It doesn't matter how ugly it gets, so long as we win! We should aim to leapfrog them by the end of the season! YNWA
