Hi all,

What an amazing win it was!

Ed001, I for one would love to read your review on this match. I'm sure most of us would interested to read your review. If possible, please do a detailed review and comments on this match mate.

Thanks Ed001 in advance.

YNWA :)

{Ed001's Note - hard to review something like that, for 20 minutes we tore them to shreds, they looked flat after not buying anyone in the transfer window, whereas we looked like a team with something to prove. We showed why a team missing a midfielder able to protect the back four can be vulnerable to teams running at them. Wilshere showed a poor attitude, far too busy whining, diving and kicking anything near him, rather than trying harder. Petulant and childish, extremely disappointing for me, as Arsenal needed a leader and instead they got a baby throwing his toys out of his pram.
Sturridge was able to frighten the Arsenal defence into dropping deep, which created acres of space for Suarez, Sterling and Coutinho to use at will. Arteta and Wilshere were left trying to deal with all 3 on their own, as the rest of the Arsenal team were not helping them at all. They were over run and we were able to get right at the defenders, and completely attack their weakness - Mertesacker.
Arsenal were awful because we made them look awful, they weren't given any time on the ball and they need time and space to work. It, in my opinion, was mostly because of our pressing and workrate that we won. We forced them into turning the ball over and then didn't give them time to settle in defence.}

Hi all,

Question for Ed001, you said this yesterday;

"Worrying for Everton, in that Martinez had no clue how to change things to cope,
not a single tactical change of note and their entire team looked completely lost."

From what you saw, how good is Brendan Rodgers in changing things to cope during matches? And does Liverpool's lack of depth actually has restricted the changes that he can make in games?

Thanks Ed001 in advance. :)

{Ed001's Note - he has made mistakes a few times this season, in that he got it wrong to start with, but no one gets it right every time. I have been impressed with his ability to make changes to fix the issues at half time. It seems a lot of lessons have been learnt from our start to the season, where we blew teams away in the first half and then faded badly in the second. You are correct, the lack of depth has affected the changes available, most have just been getting the players on the pitch to play a different way or alter their position. Such as moving Coutinho into the middle from the left etc.}

Hi all,

Question for Ed001

1) Can you give a review on the derby game? Would love to read your opinion. (on tactical wise, players and etc)

2) What is your opinion on how Gerrard play in that role?

3) As a fan who lives thousands miles away from Anfield, I would like to ask what you think of our current owner? (are they supportive, run the club well and etc)

4) Lastly, do you think we can cope and keep performing well, without signing a DM/CM in this transfer window?

Thanks Ed001. YNWA :)

{Ed001's Note - 1) It will have to be a quick one as it is dead busy here during the transfer window. Simply put, they came on to us but left huge spaces at the back, which we exploited with our pace up front. We then sat back and allowed them to push up chasing goals and we just picked them off on the break. It was all about our attack being so much better than their defence and them having no attack at all without a big lump to trouble our centre backs. Worrying for Everton, in that Martinez had no clue how to change things to cope, not a single tactical change of note and their entire team looked completely lost.

2) If he can play with that same intensity against everyone, and not just up it for the big games, then he will be excellent in that role. He just has to remember to be aware of what is happening around him in terms of the opponent's attack and where they are finding spaces, rather than looking for spaces in their defence like he normally does. I am sure he is capable, it is all up to him now.

3) Our current owners saved us from the previous cowboys and are now propping us up. They are fully intent on increasing capacity at Anfield to improve the club's income, as well as working on bringing in other income sources. Are they perfect? No. But they are a hell of a lot better than over 90% of the owners in world football.

4) Yes, so long as Sturridge and Suarez stay on form anything is possible.}
