I am really looking forward to next season. BR has assembled a great squad together.

But have some these things going around my head.

First thing is how we are going to replace Luis Suarez'z.
Well we defo need another top class striker. Sturridge gets these niggles every now and then. And if so we are left with Rickie. I think he hasn't settled himself well. Some naive and lack of confidence from him. Fair play to lad coming to a big club at that age will have its affects. No matter I didn't expect much form him he is brought as a good squad player and as a player that can bring a different dimension to the team.

Missing out on Remy is very bad. Borini is a gonner even if he stays he isn't much good enough. I would be happy with Bony. Thing is we desperately need another proven striker.

And let's talk bout Suarez's goals. Last seasons 31 goals and how about his creativity 12 assist if I remember correctly. Now we damn need to replace those goals from somewhere withing the team. If not we will be in BIG TROUBLE.
BR suggests Hendo, Lallana, Sterling & Coutinho will add goals. I hope so if four of them can manage 30-40 goals between them it would be nice. Assuming Sturridge will score at least another 20 goals, and Bony or who ever comes scores 15-20 goals that it will be fine I think.

Another thing that worrys me is the Glen Johnson!
I don't think he should get in the first XI. Fllanno and Kelly are even way better. With the imminent fullback arrivals I hope we ship him out. Aged, high wages not a reliable defender we should not keep in our books.

Flanno and Moreno as fullbacks will be great. Manquillo, Enrique (another one that should leave btw) and Kelly providing cover.

Last thing is how we are treating the youngsters, we got so many talents withing our ranks. For LLori why & Suso I don't want the club to sell them.

Llroi should be given starts at defence. We should ship out Agger and Toure and give Kelly, Coates and Llori the chance.
I am sure llori will be diisapointed for not getting into team and always going out on loan. Same goes for Suso.

Annd I also think we need another good keeper. Probably a starter. Mignolet not good enough imo

would welcome comments from fellow reds
cheers

well not the best of topics to discuss atm.

But regarding summer transfers, I think we can have some shrewd signings. there are excellent players out there available for far less money that can improve this team.

For a midfileder Ivan Rakitic or Roberto Firmino would be great. Within our price range. Both have been performing very good. Forget Adam Lallana . the price saints would demand for him would be ridiculous. 30M

For a left Back Scmelzer would be excellent. has a good work ethic and is balanced full back good at defending a s well as going forward. But I see his defensive contribution is better.
If not we defo have a look Ricardo Rodriguez.
Fabio Coentrao would be a wishful signing though.
And once again forget Shaw. Great young player but 30M. nah Also this Guillerm Siquera I am not convinced by him not good enough IMO.

And for an attacking player Konoplyanka. well but for 18 -20M not worth it. I would like to have Xehrdan Shaqiiri, Sebastian Giovincio or Antonio Griezman.

For a striker Aspas agent has said he is not leaving, but unless he develops his physical side of the game I can't see him of being any use to us. At current situation if we loose both Suarez ad Sturridge I am 200% sure we are left with nothing.
And Borini I think he can be a good backup but his performances for Sunderland worries me a lot.
If both Borini and Aspas were to leave we would need another striker to come in.
I think we should get an experienced cover for striker some one like Mirko Vucinic of juventus or Ivica Olic.
If not and if BR wants three top strikers I think Carlos Vela, Loic Remy, Alexandre Lacazette would be great cheap options for that third spot.

And finally we need another goalie to compete with Mignolet, Bard isn't good enough and Mingolet form dips we are left with nothing, Good expereinced one needed.

so 4 players would do it. I guess players like Mosses, Cisskokho, along with probabbly Borini and Aspas will go.

So its no rocket science we can be already for thrilling championsleague nights next season.

Read comments made by Aspas! I think he is really unlucky. With Sturridge and Suarez scoring for fun. How ever he needs to work hard especially with the physical side of his game. Need to bulk up, be strong. He seems too fragile even compared to likes of Sterling. If he can improve that side of his game he can get into this team for sure. He has talent.

And noticed that BR played him in the Coutinho role when Cou got injured. I think RW/upfront would be much more suited.
I just hope Aspas makes it here and don't turn out to be this seasons Borini.

Speaking of Borini, with countryman Di Canio gone it isn't quiet bright for him at Sunderland. IMO we should cut our loses and sell him.

Another player that concerns me is Luis Alberto. Sure he has bags of potential. But the question is do we really need him. There are better players for much needed positions in the team that we need, For 6.5M on ALberto. I am not quiet happy abt it. I think we could have invested that much better.
We have Coutinho, Gerrard, Allen even Suarez who can play that role. Besides we have youngsters of ALberto's age like Suso, Texeira, Adjoran who can play in that position. Nothing against the lad, I support him but he was not what really the team needed.

Instead of 6.5 m on ALberto should have went for a DM. There were plenty of DM available in summer. Now we have Lucas alone. Team very weak in that position.

In janaury DM and a Winger should be a priority. So that we can loan out the likes of Ibe, Sterling, also Wisdom etc.

Nemanja MAtic would be good player as will Yarmalenko.
And this talk of Suarez leaving, IMO unless absurd amount comes in that will be very wrong. Need to wait till end of season. THis is a very good first eleven no need to disrupt it.

And when we have Coutinho and Johnson back in XI. Juss can't wait. Also looking forward to return of Allen.

So its Willian eh! Feel sorry for our fans who are once again excited about been linked with another top class player. I don't think we will get him though.

I think it will be another bubble like of Mikhitaryan or Costa. I am fed up with this missing on big targets.

Yes we cannot offer champions league football, or extreme packages of wage. But look at Spurs if they can land the likes of Soldado, Paulinho this window and the likes of Lloris and Verthongen last summer why can't we just do the same.

Something is really going wrong with the negotiation team involved in these deals. I don't think Ian Ayre is the man for the job. Spurs have Franco Baldini who has lots of experience working on transfer deals, know around Europe well respected by agents. I think we need someone like Baldini to work on these deals on behalf of the club.

Please keep MR. Ayre out of these deals.

I am always hearing we have money, we have money to spend but so far from what the business we have done it dosen't look like we have money that much after all.

We need three class signings to get us top 4, a winger, CB, LB. These players need to be very good as suggested by BR to slot directly into starting XI.

Couple of days left, IMO without these three quality signings we go bust. No top 4 I predict for us, we 'll challenge but will not reach it.

Can't blame BR, can only blame Ayre and owners who are failing to bring the players what BR need that can bring that extra bit to get us top 4.

We really can't live with the feeling all the signings we make will turn out to be another Coutinho or Sturridge.
