First time poster here. Have been following the site for years and have to say that all of you are doing a fantastic job. Awesome work.
I wanted to know your take on a couple of things.
1. What is your assessment of Firmino ? We did overspend to beat competition. What are the options he brings to the Liverpool side ?
2. With sterling having left,do you feel that pace up front , which was one of the key attributes of the Liverpool sides in the past couple of years may not be available in this years side. Even Sturbridge is out or could be out again during the season.
{Ed002's Note - (1) He is a decent player but Liverpool spent vastly more on Firmino than was offered (and accepted) from another English side and roughly double what his termination clause was for German sides. They also agreed to very significant performance-based add ons. (2) Liverpool have Ibe if they need that type of player.}

How come one minute were tight as a ducks aspe then the next were paying over the odds for a player ?
{Ed002's Note - Liverpool has repeatedly spent vast amounts of money and paid over the odds for players - that is what you often need to do if you don't have the money to pay for them. Right now the club will be borrowing against the additional income they will get in two years time.}
