Hello Eds, thanks for keeping us up to date with the rumours.
Agger, Suarez and Gerrard class aswell as leaders will be gone. We can't seem to interest players of this calibre and will have a lack in this department. Do you think Rodgers is losing the plot!

Losing the plot? Rodgers? We're talking here about a man who has probably spent thousands of pounds deliberately having real teeth made to look like joke shop ones and paints his skin in honour of Tango. Sounds perfectly balanced to me.
2.) Well Lavezzi is up for grabs, he'd be and an ideal signing to raise the profile of the squad along with improving our attack.
3.) He lost it ages ago. Should have been sacked after the palace debacle.
4.) To be fair we do have other people who SHOULD step up as leaders.
It is not necessarily Rogers fault if they don't, although he could do more to coax it out of them.
I am thinking of Lallana, Henderson, Skrtel, Toure, Lovren, Lucas.
These are experienced internationals who should be leading younger players.
I actually think more people will step up as leaders once Gerrard leaves as at the moment they are all in his shadow.
He is top man so anyone stepping into a leadership role could be seen as challenging his position as top dog.
5.) BR himself is not a leader because to be a good leder, you have to take ownership and be accountable for your actions which BR has never done because he`s always looking to blame everyone else for the shambles that everyone knows are his fault. So how can he coax leadership out of players when he himself is lacking in that dept? You can`t give what you don`t have, simple.

Hello eds, just wondering with willian going to spurs, miky going to dortmund and erikson not seeming to be interested, is there any chance we can have a marquee signing?
Is it as you've said we don't agree with price values (willian to spurs 30m pounds), we can't actually compete with other clubs spending or do we just not have the pulling power?
I think just to stand a chance of competing for 4th we need quality as the 3 we've missed, not just promising players, we have enough of them now.
Is there interest in realistic targets which we can consider marquee, such as turan? To be honest I can't think of any one else i'd consider in this bracket who might come!
I see us ending up with Capel, Atsu, Elia etc who have all been mentioned but in my opinion won't take us up a level.
Please tell me there is a possible nice surprise for us!! Thanks
