Ed's, with many people naming foriegn managers as replacements for Rogers, is there any english/British managers that you think could do the job.

Eds I would love us to sign psg's veratti I think the lad would be a excellent addition. And also with many strikers being linked I think gabbiadini of napoli has been superb this season and I believe he will only get better.

{Ed002's Note - Verratti would likely struggle in England and has no interest in moving here. Gabbiadini is well respected but won't be moving to England any time soon - having already turned down the opportunity.}

{Ed002's Note - Rodgers has a system that does not involve a right back per se and Micah Richards would add nothing whilst that is the case. Liverpool already has right backs they are not using and Rodgers has Toure and Can who can play the right side of defence. It appears that Micah Richards would not likely get much playing time if he were to join. Add that to there being lots of interest in him but none whatsoever from Liverpool, and I doubt he is one to hold your breath over.}

Rodgers system is deeply flawed. It need to be more flexible against opponents with pacy wingers. It leaves a much slower CB to cover from the side, usually 1 on 1, allowing space both inside and at the edges of the box. Last game vs crystal palace was a perfect example of an incomptetent manager.
When implemented effectively, a 4 man backline with a CDM dropping deep when needed is much more pragmatic and dynamic. Why doesn't that work for Liverpool? Gerrard is not a CDM and Lucas is too slow. He's good, but a little too slow to cover the centre of the park in the EPL.
