Talk sport thinks our interest in konoplyanka has increased after missing out on salah? Considering that he's worth between 13-15 mil surely this one is beyond us eds?

Juan iturbe seems to be attracting attention from some pretty big clubs. Does that include Liverpool? Desperate to hear that we're bidding for players at least!

I personally think Liverpool over achieved slightly last season in that we was fortunate with our injuries, (nothing major) our lack of competitions, (no Europe) and the best season out of both our strikers. Not to be pessimistic but unless these 20 year old signings (markovic and can) can hit the ground running I struggle to see us replicating last season. Especially with champions league in the mix as well as no Suarez. I haven't even taken other teams around us all signing top la liga stars in to consideration either! (Fabregas, Costa, Sanchez and Herrera). Hopefully who ever Suarez's replacement is will do the business fingers crossed.

Hi eds, I really hope Liverpool aren't looking at huntelaar as a replacement for suarez. One option I was thinking of was Matco Reus. Is it true that he has a €35 mil release clause? And would he have an interest in joining Liverpool should we bid for him?

Would the signing of Konoplyanka leave us short of money for other signings? Or would we have to turn to the loan market for further signings eds?

This is probably a shot in the dark, but am I right in thinking our budget for this window is around 8 million? Reports say that is what we wanted to offer for salah and now niguez too?

Since Liverpool has appeared to miss out on yet another major target, do we have any serious interest in anyone in particular? Or are we resigned to the hope that a very small squad can hold on to fourth?!
