Henrikh Mkhitaryan signed with agent Mino Raiola April 15th to get a move to a Europrean club. For 3 days in early June an agent acting for Anzhi tried to persuade him to sign for the Russian team but he knew of Liverpool's interest and refused though the fee and wages would have been higher than paid by Liverpool. The owners of his previous clubs (Metalurg Donetsk and Pyunik FC) have sell on rights written into his contract so they want him to go to Russia for a higher fee as does the owner of Shakhtar! The owner of Pyunik also happens to be the President of the Armenian Football Federation! Henrikh was due in Shakhtar's Austrian training camp on Sunday and has not appeared! Liverpool need to formally make an offer to force this through. Shakhtar are claiming to contact from Liverpool which seems hard to believe.
