Eds,

Can you confirm interest in Capel is genuine because I really don't rate him. i'd rather keep downing (if the rumours of him going are true)
Cheers {Ed002's Note - Marseille, Swansea and Braga have shown an interest Diego Capel who will be available after what has been a pretty torid time this season. Liverpool enquired after his availability on loan. His agent has been instructed by Sporting to find him a new club with an asking price in the region of €6M. His agent has spoken with a number of clubs in England, including Spurs, Swansea, Liverpool, West Ham and Sunderland. Right now Marseille are looking at making another bid for Capel; and this bid is imminent - today or tomorrow.}

Hi Eds,

As you will be aware, on SSN, Mr O'Connor made a statement regarding the committee and to probable review of LFC's transfer policy.

What is unclear to me, with all this pressure on BR is that, IF this is true (the committee/transfer policy)- then why is BR getting all this flack for making Poor signings?

I mean, I hated the fact that he signed Balotelli. I thought Lallana was a good player but not worth 25m. I like Markovic and Lovren was probably the best Cb in the league last season.

But if all these players were signed by the "Committee" BR, Ayres and Fallows, then surely this pressure on BR is unjustified.

Its a bit hazy for me. Is the transfer committee a rumour and all signings were down to BR or were some signings made without BR's vote?

Cheers

{Ed001's Note - he voted on all the signings, he is a part of the committee in case you haven't noticed.}

Hi Eds,

I can't believe what I am seeing on the news. Balotelli? Why has BR agreed to this signing? I really think this is a panic buy! Maybe its a ploy to force Falcao or cavani onto thinking they may be missing out on a move to the club?

Very disappointed in this signing.

Another Anelka in my eyes, Raw talent but just a complete TOOL

{Ed001's Note - Anelka was not a tool at Liverpool by any means. He was a lovely lad, worked hard, played his heart out and really wanted to stay. I hope Balotelli has the same attitude.}

Hi Peeps,

Not so much a rumour, only a question.

Is Coates still a player BR is looking to move on?

Because I have been impressed with him in Pre-Season (from the games iv seen him play). I used to slate him, but he has looked rather good, if i'm being honest.

Also, do you see us making a realistic bid For Mario Bolatelli?

Cheers

Hi Eds

If the Sakho deal comes off then great signing. Well happy with that. But I have to say, to see Spurs making such signings is so frustrating. Missing out on Eriksen for 11.5m is crazy. Did BR ever have an interest in him because if we were to sign someone to replace Gerrard he was the guy.

So far I haven't been very enthusiastic with the signings BR gas made. Borini Allen Assaidi.not good.

Do you think BR is confused himself or just struggling to attract players to play under him.? {Ed023's Note - Why can't you name the good signings BR has made? He didn't want Eriksen simply because he is a risk with all the talking he does in the media wanting to use clubs as a stepping stone to Spain.}

Hi Eds,

Each time we all see a rumour regarding Liverpool and players, we see that BR refuses to bid as asking price is too high. Eriksen we could get for 20-25m. But no bid. Honestly don't know why BR won't bid for the kid.

Sakho is available and PSG have quoted a fee of up to around 20m. which is high but I think in todays market he's work a punt at 15m.

Ilori's price tag is 6.1m (apparently) but Liverpool have (apprently) borked at that. What do you get if you spend peanuts?

If BR is borking at 6.1m for Ilori, 15m at Sakho and 25m for Eriksen then I don't know what he's thinking. After all, weren't we willing to spend 25m on mhitikaryn or 25m on Willian? Maybe he's hoping too sell Suarez. Maybe he's only got 10m left and hoping to secure a loan deal first before securing another player on a permanent.

Any thoughts?
