Please ed, what is the true positions of things with Lallana? Is he confirmed ahead of the transfer window opening day? Also, with Liverpool now in the champions League, do you feel we have the quality in the midfield department to compete at this level? Candid view will be appreciated as always. Tnks
{Ed001's Note - our medicals take ages mate, just waiting on results seems to take days. We have a first 11 to compete with anyone, the issue is when we have injuries or suspensions we will struggle.}

Ed01, my interest is largely in the youth team at the moment because if you have a lad who is talented, hungry and willing to listen to instructions, you will get better value for almost no price. Jese Rodriguez(if my memo serve me right came through RM ranks) the lad will only turn a world class if he progresses fine. In the LFC ranks, is there any kid there you personally rate well to become good I.e a Striker? Is the club looking to add any kid in the Striking dept? Do you personally think any of them will be ready at least for the pre-season or loan? Your view will be appreciated. Thanks
{Ed001's Note - Delle Ali we are looking to add. Oyo, Rossiter defo have the potential.}

Ed01. You seem to rate B. Smith and Texeira so highly. I don't know much about them but will be most grateful if you can make brief review of them. I hope you aren't loosing hairs already from reading dumb posts? Lol. Do have your self a wonderful day man.
{Ed001's Note - quickly:
Smith - fast and hard working attacking left back. Lacks a bit defensively but that seems to be part of the game these days for full backs. His pace is such that very few attackers will have any hope of beating him for pace, it also allows him to atone for most errors by getting back at the attacker before they can get clear. Still looks a little weak at times, but he should be able to strengthen up given the chance to play against full grown adult players in the first team. Also, apparently, is a very good listener, I am told he works to instruction well, which should allow him to develop very quickly when he gets a break.
Teixeira is just quality. If is hadn't been for injuries, I feel sure he would already be a first team regular. He is calm and composed on the ball, good vision, great range of passing, good touch and technique, is capable of gliding past players and has a decent shot too. He lacks a little in the physical dept, which is why he struggled so badly at Brentford while on loan. But he is a very creative player.}

Goodmorning EDs, your patience is admirable; reading through sane and insane posts on daily basis. Your judgement of rumours I reckon, are quiet sound. It leaves me wondering 'how do you do this'? Well, just keep up the good work. YNWA
{Ed001's Note - it requires padded walls, so that when you are banging your head against them you do no damage.}

Ed01. I must say your analysis of the beautiful game is absolutely educating and a pleasure to read. I want to ask, in your opinion, which defender do you think the club need to provide that class leadership we once saw with J. Carragher? Conceeding 50goals in a season doesn't look good at all. Probably one of the reasons we lost the trophy 2 Man City. Thanks
{Ed001's Note - I am of the opinion that Sakho can be the commanding leader we miss, once he is settled in.}
