Hey eds I seen on that Liverpool have began talks with Salzburg about Valon Berisha. Is there any truth in this?

The sooner this transfer window closes the better, fans get ridiculously touchy during these windows, one player choosing a team currently placed above us and also are in the champions league over us and suddenly the sky is falling. The coming 5 months can be speculated all you want but as we have seen in the first half of the season that doesn't mean that it will happen.
Sure reinforcements would be nice but if it doesn't happen its not 100% over. Where is the fighting mentality associated with this club? The istanbul spirit? Sure the squad is thin but that doesn't mean we should be ruled out just yet.
Maybe i'm being 'naive' thinking we still have a fighting chance or maybe this is a coping mechanism from fans who have over the past 4 years been saying that "this is our year" and "soon we'll once again have european nights at Anfield" only to be disappointed both with results and performances. A decision consciously or subconsciously, of being almost reserved in our praise of the club to soften the blow when it all turns sour.
The fact remains though that so far this season we have for the most part played well with a bit of luck and hoping that our injured players return pretty soon then we could well finish in the top four and this site may well be not so full of doom and gloom. Even in the week ahead if Liverpool win the derby and united only draw with cardiff i'm sure that the reaction on this site would be much more upbeat since we as football fans seem to have the memory of a goldfish. I know these are big ifs but people tend to isolate specific performances or speculate on future ones and not deal with things on a bigger scale. i'm sure there are very few fans who disagree that we are moving in the right direction. So instead of looking at Liverpool and thinking that they are a team who can only manage a draw with villa at home, think of them as a team who remain unbeaten in 2014!
Who knows what a positive outlook could do to give the players the extra push to perform at their best in the future months

Let's try and keep a positive outlook and remember the words of rocky balboa in the months ahead "it ain't over 'til its over"

The echo reporting that Chelsea are on the brink of signing Mohamed Salah.

I can't say i'm not disappointed as the guy looked a great player but still if true I wish him all the best at chelsea, hopefully he can manage to get himself game time. Should have wrapped up the deal earlier in the window

Hello eds, I wrote a post about a youtube video showcasing suso's time so far at Almeria and recommended that fellow reds watch it to get an idea as to how he is getting on in spain. i'm just wondering why it never got added to the page. Was because I put a link to a youtube video in the post? Just curious for future reference. Keep up the good work {Ed001's Note - it probably got swallowed by the spam filter, due to either the mention of youtube or a link if there was one.}
