heard about the TR from Suarez as well. I've got to admit, when he had a nibble on Ivanovic, my first thought was 'he's looking to get out of anfield'. bottom line is while he is undoubtedly a great player, he is also a liability. selling him, which we should do for a higher price than 40m (with bale value at 70m or so, are you serious?) would make good sense, seeing we bought both sturridge and countinho in for half that value combined. Top players still want to come and play at Liverpool and I have heard that in contracts being offered to players who 'want' CL Football, we are inserting clauses that state if after 2 years into a contract we haven't achieved CL Status, a release clause for players will kick in. This means top players are likely to play all the time for us rather than spend time on the bench with the oligarchy owned teams, increase their value and can move on if we don't make it. I think it is a smart way to go as it puts management and the commercial business under pressure to achieve the CL too, while I admit it doesn't necessarily drive loyalty from new players coming in. Suarez leaving will be a blessing in disguise. With his sale value and the money from additional sales, we'll probably end up with around 70-80m to spend - let's hope Brendan spends smartly. YNWA
