hi ed's,
here's the latest info I have been given.

firstly. I'm told of absolutely no interest in Karl Darlow at the current time so don't expect any of the rumours on that one to come to fruition.

secondly. saw a few posts about tom ince. I will run naked down anfield road if this happens. I've said time and again last jan was his chance to come back to Liverpool. the club have moved on and interest in ince is long gone. Expect him to go to monaco or one of the welsh clubs but just as likely to stay at blackpool until the summer.

Will Hughes saga remains ongoing with a pre contract agrement the most likely if anything happens this month. I don't expect to see him in a red shirt this season put it that way. don't be suprised to see Wisdom used in this deal. particularly if Rodgers makes moves in defensive areas. although its also just as likely for him to return to merseyside if Glenn Johnson is moved on in the summer (fingers crossed!)

Dele Ali. absolutely nothing to report in January. a target in the summer perhaps but no firm discussions at present have taken place.

Jordan Ibe could be sent on loan in January. particularly if we make new signings in similar position. Blackburn most interested and likely at present I'm told

Just following on from my post yesterday about Conor coady.the loan with sheff utd has been extended till end of feb.

Few small updates that I have been given.

There is a lot of interest in Jordan Ibe from football league clubs.dont be suprised to see a loan deal, especially if we get Salah (or a player in a similar position).

Should Derby gain promotion this season. expect negotiations to take place regarding making Andre Wisdom's loan permanent. I'm told that Wisdom isn't satisfied with the opportunities he has had at Anfield and would seek a move in the summer with Derby being an obvious choice given how well he has done there.

Also.Conor Coady to Sheff Utd may become permanent most likely in the summer but not out of the question in January. Watch this space.

Despite what is being reported.don't expect Dele Alli to sign for Liverpool. well not in January anyway!

Hi Ed's.
Could you shed any light on this? Just had a call telling me Liverpool are in talks to bring in a young Spanish player, possibly on loan however he couldn't find out the name. Just wondering if anyone had heard anything or can put a name to this rumour? I can't think of any young spaniards we would loan other than Morata but I think it's highly unlikely to be him?

Hey guys, hope your all having a great Xmas.

Couple of debates to start. interesting to hear people's views.

1. When sturridge is fit where (if anywhere) do you fit him in given the form of Suarez up front by himself, the formation as it is is working well and sterling, coutinho, hendo in good form behind. Also, I would think you loose the best of sturridge in a role behind Suarez?

2. Transfer window coming up.which areas do you think we need to improve.obviously squad needs strengthening.I'm talking first team.if you take our best first 11 which players can we improve on?

Just my thoughts on the given deal if it happens.I don't understand the people criticising the deal? He won't be coming as number one but as back up. It won't cost the club a lot in the grand scheme of things. The lad has been arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the premier league over past 10 years or more. BR said a while back he wanted some experience players in the squad to compliment the youth we have. And finally, I personally think he will be excellent for Mignolet? Surely it can only be a good thing working with someone like given everyday in training and bleeding him of advice? A shrewd move if you ask me.
