Eds, what are your opinions on Jackson Martinez? Proven at the top level, technically very skilled, powerful but can also create some very special goals. Of course, he would cost a lot, but I personally feel he would be one of the few players that could replace-to some degree at least- Suarez.
Also, with regards to Reus, while he would fit in perfectly and would be a good replacement for Gerrard, I would be very surprised if it happened. 45m-taken from the press- is also quite a lot for him I would say. Maybe 35m, but not 45m. I would personally prefer to see someone cheaper-and probably more realistic, although no doubt other clubs will be chasing him- like Griezmann, who may not be as good yet, but definitely has potential.
