Ed02 is there any chance of us making a pre-agreement in January for Xabi Alonso to come home after the world cup? or just sign him outright in Jan? surely he wouldn't be worth that much in Jan at his age with only 6 months left on his contract {Ed002's Note - I really don't see it happening myself. I see Alonso's options as Galatasaray (can't see him moving there now), New York Red Bulls, Colorado Rapids or LA Galaxy (all possible) and finally Real Sociedad (in the future perhaps). I can't say the most likely thing to happen but I could give an opinion that he will move to the MLS (maybe the NY Red Bulls) and then return to Spain to end his career with Real Sociedad.}

Hey eds, surely spurs couldn't fit Willian and Lamela into their pretty large squad already? What are the chances of us signing either one of them or the guy from real sociedad Griezmann? Love the site.
On another note I was at the LFC vs Melbourne Victory game and it was fantastic, please come back to AUS again LFC {Ed001's Note - why not? They are in need of wide attackers, Townsend wants to move on. Highly unlikely to get any of the 3.}

Will everyone stop bashing the team and BR, we have only played 5 games! There are 33 to go still.
Last season we played poor at the start but got some lucky results, this season we are down on luck and down on form but we are not a bad team. We have a favourable draw coming up in the league, Sturridge is almost back and the team will only get better as the season goes on. Get behind the lads, once we turn our form around and get some players like Flanno, Can and Sturridge back in the team we will be sitting pretty in the top 4 once again!

Bit of MOTD fever but that Salah from Basel looks like he is a real prospect and only 21, what are the chances of him moving anytime soon and has anyone shown interest? Would fit in really well at LFC

Hi Eds, now that the window is closed, in what order do you rate the squads of the top 6? Just interested to see what other people from closer to the league think, out in AUS we are quite LFC biased haha, thanks {Ed001's Note - I would go with City, Chelsea, then they are all pretty much of a muchness squadwise. Even City and Chelsea have glaring weaknesses. Chelsea need a striker still, City need a left back and cover all over the back line. To be honest, the more I look at it, the less real difference I can see between the squads. Arsenal lack any kind of depth at all, but Ozil is just top class. We lack cover in midfield. Spurs need a left back even more than City. United still have a lack of any creativity in midfield, other than Kagawa.}
