I guess if Suarez is staying then a big name is not coming until the summer. If RM start asking for him, then I guess Liverpool will do the same they did with Torres if Suarez wanted to go. Yes, but we watn x amount so we can buy... as a replacement.

Cavani would be good as a foil for Suarez but his goalscoring record compared with Suarez is nowhere near as good.

You do realise Cavani currently plays in the CL and Real Madrid are said to be 'very interested'. Would probably rule out them moving for Suarez and definately rule out Cavani liking the look of Liverpool.

Who ever said Suarez was going? Only loonies or P.C. soccer pundits who think he's "damaged goods" after the Evra affair.Of course if we made him available the big clubs of Europe would take no notice of the "damaged" lable and bid for him big time!

Cavani is far better than Suarez in terms of goal scoring, so if Suarez leaves Liverpool I'd be happy with Cavani as our main man.
