Have any of you seen the Botafogo defender Doria play? Apparently he is a brilliant ball palying centre half, and is great in the tackle, and only 18! Sounds like he would fit in, but I guess there is no interest? I know Chelsea are. {Ed002's Note - Doria has been subject to unconfirmed interest of Spurs and PSV, certain interest of Chelsea, Cruzeiro and Fluminense together with his agent trying to get a move to either Porto or Benfica.}

Looks as though the Bale deal must be done, if these Willian rumours are true? Can't believe spurs could afford to spend another £30+ million if not.
It really is frustrating that we keep loosing out on players to our nearest top 4 rival. Unfortunately London seems to be a preferred destination for a lot of foreign players.
Stop blaming Ian Ayre etc. Most layperson have no idea what happens in these negotiations!

Ok so I think we need to be logical about VVDs injury. Last season we won the league by 18 points. Is his absence going to lose us that many points. Probably not. But he’s a massive loss and others have to step up to the plate. I hate to say it, but in united’s hay day that’s what their players did regularly. Klopp will find way.

LIDAR - Same as radar but using light from lasers. Car's use it for all sorts of safety features. But there are loads of applications for it.

I'd love to know how somebody knows that it's going to be a long transfer saga? What he/ she probably means is, get ready for continual questions and rumour about Naby Keita, with the eventual outcome being the player stays put and the realisation it was never on in the first place.

Hanif005. Not sure how you think flooding your national league with foreign imports will suddenly turn your national team into a world class outfit? In fact, I’d say the opposite is more likely. You only need to look at the prem and what it’s done for the England national team.
Building a whole new sporting infrastructure and utilising it to develope a winning national team from the grassroots could take decades, not just 10yrs. Will no doubt be interesting to watch how they develop though.

If Liverpool even have a sniff of getting Bellingham ahead of City or Madrid then they need to make It happen. Opportunities like that do not come around often. Hell, players like him don’t come around often and when they do we’re not usually in the frame. City are miles ahead of us. Imagine what that gap might be if they now swoop for JB and we get Mount and Gravenberch or Macallister.
The midfield needs sorting and JB solves that almost single-handedly. At 19 years old he could do 5yrs and we’d still likely get most of that money back. Alternatively, spank massive wages on players that haven’t made it and big clubs and won’t be easy to get rid of if and when they don’t get us closer to City and now even Arsenal (excuse me whilst I’m sick)!

Yep, was at that game and we were cruising at 2-0 and looked like we'd hammer them. Became complacent and let them back into it. Had we gone on to win then the title would be in our hands.
Not sure we can blame outside influences.

Yes I did and was mightily relieved he was on the ball, literally! Imagine if they had scored and we lost because of a spinning ball.
