all the unjust towards ian ayre is at best incompetence by our so called fans.he is doing a brilliant job of getting the club back where it should be. we could have signed salah and kono and he would be the bees knees but we didn't and under the circumstances I for one am proud he and we stuck to our guns we are Liverpool for god sake. both players would have struggled to make an immediate impact on the team. I feel our fans are getting more fickle by the day but to all true Liverpool fans I say this, 88-89 is ringing strongly in my ears because I think we have the owners the board the management and the players to push on. trust me when I say no club or player holds Liverpool to ransom

some posters on here suggest we will be fighting for minor honours but I got to tell everyone this we are the best team in the league bar none. we won a game today we would have never won in past years, we have a strike force second to none and I be;eive we will come good at the back now stevie g is there. don't look for anything bar champions they are playing like it. we didn't play our best today but we ground out a good result something we haven't done for years. chins up and aim high because we are going to be looking down on everyone come what may

different game eds with the back 3 because they wer mostly flat the modern game i feel is when your 2 CBs are told they have to defend not call in a LB or RB to do their job the onus is on the DF to be disciplined to be in front instigating the play and filling in when needed. the other 2 mids take a higher line with the LB and RB and so allows the wingers to engage with the fullbacks and a striker engaging the 2 CBs of course your goalie will have to play a higher line too which is why all goalkeepers are trained as defenders as well as goalies. teams are under pressure to play from the back so have to go long and your goalie should snuff that danger out. but i'd rather live on the chance of closing having more possession than losing the odd goal to a long ball. the only thing i can see wrong with some teams playing today is they don't get the ball in the box enough from wide areas because that's fundamental to the system.

puzzled that post baffles me. i'm a fan and i'm involved in the game at a low level but if you didn't want opininion on the team why are you here, because that's what this site is about and any info or criticism you can get on our team will make us better do u not realise that especially from commmentary unpopular to the fans. i love when commentators criticise liverpool just as much as i do when they adore us for to get better u need difference of opininion and shrewd brutality, it brings out the best in managers and teams.
