Ed002, the midfield stuff has been done to death a bit.

So was wondering if you could give a quick overview for GK and CB interest. You've mentioned Horn/ Zieler and Ndicka/ Schuurs. Was wondering if they're still options or if there are others.

Thank you for the midfielder list by the way. Was a great way to whet the appetite for the summer.

{Ed002's Note - As a special traet. The problem is that there tends to be abuse because I don't understand the pre-agreements Liverpool alredy has in place with Enzo Fernandez, Josko Gvardiol and Jude Bellingham.

Liverpool will lose Caoimhin Kelleher and even possibly Marcelo Pitaluga who is attracting interest from continental Europe. Interest in:
Bart Verbruggen (G) If promoted, Burnley will move for the player. Agent has offered the player to Spurs and others as his chances of ousting Van Crombrugge are slim and he wants first team football. Liverpoool, knowing that Caoimhin Kelleher will likely leave to get more game time, have sent scouts to watch him. Southampton were looking at the player last season but went on to sign Gavin Bazuno, and that has worked out well. Go Ahead Eagles failed with a bid last summer.

At CB, Liverpool will lose Phillips and Williams who should be replaceable internally, and perhaps Matip. Interest in:
Josko Gvardiol (CB) No chance of a move to Livepool this summer.
Perr Schuurs (CB) Only signed from Ajax last summer and an enquiry from Spurs was met with a not for sale - but a €50m would make them listen. I doubt any club would value him at half that but Manchester United, and ten Hag knows him well, and Liverpool have sent scouts.
Antonio Silva (CB) Benfica say that "many scouts" have been to watch the player - perhaps they are looking for someone to pay his €100M buy out clause - a move at that price seems unlikely but PSG are keen. Juventus and Napoli would want a reduction in the asking price to make any move viable. Looked at by Spurs and Manchester United. For Liverpool perhaps a Konate replacement, but there is no plan to sell Konate. Seems unlikely.
Evan Ndicka (CB) His agents are pushing for a pre-contract agreement to sign for Barcelona, Arsenal or Spurs as a Free Agent in the summer. Was expected to leave last summer and was seen as an option for Newcastle and West Ham but stayed to seek a more lucrative move as a free agent. Roma had an intereest in the player and have spoken with the player and informed Eintracht Frankfurt of their interest which could have led to a January transfer at a low fee but the demands of his agent (a €15M signing on fee) ended that. Arsenal are fearful of Saliba or Gabriel leaving hence their interest in him. Liverpool may offer an option if they wish to upgrade Matip. Marseille and Inter Milan have him high on their list of targets. If Liverpool want him now is the time to move.
Goncalo Inacio (CB) Watched by scouts from a number of PL sides, including Liverpool and Manchester United, with the latter declaring an interest. The other side to declare an interest is PSG. Real Madrid offer a wildcard option. Sporting would rather not sell and are looking to a new contract and an increased release clause.
Max Kilman (CB) Agent has told several clubs, including Manchester City, Leeds and Liverpool that he could be made available by Wolves - but I am sure they are not looking to sell.}

Thanks Ed, much appreciated. I'd ignore the abuse. Your knowledge is what sets this site apart from other forums and the majority of us really appreciate your time.

{Ed002's Note - You are very sweet - post of the day.}

Thanks for this Ed002. Insightful as always.

Real shame to hear you’re still getting abuse from some on here. Some people are overreacting to the max because they can’t have their shiny new toy. They obviously know better than the manager and the club what’s needed - makes you wonder why they haven’t all been appointed to the board? We’ll be absolutely fine this summer I’m sure, people need to calm down and realise that all you’re doing is sharing your knowledge.

Just know there’s also a lot of us on here who highly value your work. I’ve been on the site since 2017 and still regard yourself as the #1 when it comes to reliable LFC info.

Have a great weekend. Look forward to hearing your information over the coming weeks.

{Ed002's Note - You have a great weekend as well. Going to disappear out for lunch soon the a couple of days travelling - so a busy old time.}

Bit late,
However I had to throw in my appreciation for you too, ED002. I'm on this site consistently, specially around transfer season, just for your expertise and information. I really appreciate your time and energy that you give us and all that valuable info. For every 1 di**head who gives you abuse, just know there's 50 who are very thankful for what you do!

Shoutout to all the other EDS involved too. This site is very well run and easy to use. Props to all of you!
