. expect big announcement next few days. Apparently the new stand build is at least a month behind schedule and won't be ready for new season! Liverpool don't know yet if they'll be allowed to have fans in lower tier for matches because they need to pass 2 safety test events first. Some of the workers on site reckon the stand won't be fully complete until Xmas!

If true unfortunately it’s one of those things where no one is to blame as Health and Safety and construction etc are an absolute mine field.

I’d imagine the Project manager will be the fall guy in all of this even if it’s not their fault.

There is absolutely no guarantee that this is true and the new stand may very well be open for Bournemouth but the season ticket membership group I am part of were expecting their allocations over the weekend after the fixture announcement but are yet to receive them and I know others are the same.

Perhaps Virg has been taking charge of the workers and with his attitude and lack of leadership workers have fallen behind. Bloody Vvd stop throwing people under that bus.

Playing away from home week in and week out for a few months may get us past that away form hoodoo. And will give us a better run in.

This was broke by kc on YouTube who posts drone footage videos of the new stand, so I can see how'd he'd be first with the news. Not .

I watch the stadium redevelopment daily since the beginning, on YouTube through the various drone videos. If you look today, and I'm no développer, you can see there's far more work needed than can be done in 2 Months. Especially the internal finishing. Was bound to happen after the original roof was not removed during the World Cup pause, as was originally scheduled.

Anyway. Pitfalls of the construction business. ??.

These days its largely down to the client demanding an unrealistic project program and not providing the contractor with the required/ correct information. As Aray points out the roof wasn't removed when planned yet the handover date doesn't change. I'd hazard a guess that there's asbestos in the old stand too and that will slow things to a crawl. Only worked on one job that went belly up and it was the PM that copped it.

Having worked on a brave few building sites back in the day, I can say that somehow in the last month everything falls into place and the job gets done, I mean you wouldn’t think it if you were on site looking around you, but it does.
So unless the company or Liverpool have officially said something then it should be fine ?.
