Ornstein reporting that Al Ittihad are going to offer £40m for Fabinho.

Anyone aware of any truth in this? And would we be open to a sale?

Thanks Eds. Surely too good to turn down for someone who's on the decline and is only going to be phased out. Plus doesn't offer the same level of leadership as a Henderson to warrant keeping him around the squad.

Surely we wouldn't go into new season with 2 x 19 year olds as our dm's, baji + lavia . Far too vital a position.

Thanks Ed, does this mean Liverpool will look for someone more experienced than Lavia if Fabinho is to leave? It seems a big ask for a 19 year old to become the first choice DM in a top 4 side.

Ed002 I don’t hate it, I hope him and Henderson go both been great servants for the club but to get some money in would be great for them 2 hopefully Thiago as well but out off the three he is the one I would keep.

By replacing him do you mean someone other than Lavia as I would have thought he would be brought in to supplement Fabinho with the thought being to eventually replace? Is there anyone else you think we may look at now that it looks like Fabinho May go?
