Jones amazing run and shot today so reminded me of Macca in his pomp - shame didn't score but at least he played well second half.

Should definitely have scored, but cracking run and potentially a cracking player. I just have a niggle the top, top level prospects would be composed enough to bury that. Love that he’s getting games though and reckon we’ll have a quality player there.

Exactly, Mark08. Jones for me, was stellar last night. He showed courage and confidence beyond his years and on that play, he showed brilliance, took responsibility and to me, just ran outta gas at the final moment after running 70 yards or so with the ball. I am still waiting to hear the names top level prospects (who are playing their fiest full season in the first team) that would have buried that.

Both Hendo running the game from from his new defensive position and Jones were good to watch.
I just didn't understand why we played Origi, We don't win games he plays. i would have preferred Kaby or OX.

It resembled Stevies run when he was coming through and breaking into the team. The only difference being When Gerrard did it, he drilled it in and almost ripped the net off, that’s the difference between good and the best.

Jones man of the match for me. Minamino had his best appearance yet. VAR continues to be a farce - our penalty decision was wrong imo and if it happened to us instead of Fulham we’d be livid.
