I see you mentioned before ed that you think be could play the firmino role in the future. Is that because his lack of outright pace that makes him perhaps not suitable for a modern day winger.

{Ed001's Note - more because he has the skillset to play central.}

Ed, do you think he has the potential to develop into a david silva type player?

Cheers.

{Ed001's Note - possibly, but that is a big ask of any player to develop into a great like him.}

Thanks for this Ed. My concern for Elliott has always been that lack of real pace that the modern forward typically needs especially in the top teams. I see him as more of an AM though maybe he could develop in to more of a Mahrez type player with great skill and delivery but not lightning fast?

{Ed001's Note - I still think he is perfect to play central.}

Some of the through balls he would play from the centre of the pitch were incredible when I have watched him. He is a player who seems to be all over the pitch even when started out wide. I don’t know if this was just mobray giving him a free role or him just loving to be involved everywhere.

Only just seen this after reading the excellent Hutter profile . I'm in total agreement with your assessment ed, he strikes me as being more of a central playmaker, he rarely seems out of ideas and creates opportunities for runners in front of him from what I've seen, whilst absolutely nowhere near Ineista's level he does remind me of him in creating the assist for the assist.
