Var playing a part in giving City points because they can and will keep doing unless teams take a stand. An absolute joke and it will come out in time that some of these officials were getting brown envelopes.

How that was a second yellow, and therefore a sending off, is beyond me. There is so much inconsistency between refs now, that it's seriously become an issue that needs to be addressed.

But you have to admit that Arteta has to address the lack of football discipline with some players (the usual culprits it seems) . The good part is we saw once again what really unsettles ManC. A hard press, with energy and commitment. Martinelli and Saka were very good today.

I thought it was a yellow card ArAy. Daft getting the first one imo.

{Ed014's Note - utterly stupid, Ramsdale was scuffing it too! 🤦‍♂️

How can in the CL VAR can be run without much incident? I'm 100% convinced corruption is playing a part in England.

It was a definitely yellow for me cos Jesus spun him and was already away and he bodies him to prevent the move. Yellow all day, IMO.

Refs have lost their bottle and VAR is just giving them an easy way out. Its so demoralising as an Arsenal fan or football fans in general. There is clear time between the 2 players "brushing" thighs and Silva deciding to throw himself to the ground. Refs have never played the game, an ex player would clearly call it a dive.
