I can't for the life of me understand why we have to play 433 every single game, we haven't the personnel/ legs currently to play this system. is there no other formation available with all the top coaches we have. can we not load up in midfield to try and sturdy the goddamn ship. I don't usually post negative but f*** me it is so frustrating.

It's very hard to change the system and work on it, on one day's training in between games.

imo we've barely played 433 this season. At least not the way we used to two or three years ago. The midfield is not operating in the same way at all. One of them is constantly either pushing out onto the right or up into a #10 role.

But lo and behold, we've played 433 tonight and have suddenly started pressing again. Amazing.

Every single game has been 433, delighted the young lads have shown hunger tonight, absolutely refreshing, a lot of the regulars should be ashamed of themselves.

Bacjetic was excellent in my opinion looks a very good prospect, reads the game well, good passer, can get out of tight situations and very composed. He didn’t look out of place playing against prem opposition tonight, so really hope he builds on this for the rest of the season.

This kid could save us a fortune in the near future.
