All this talk of Henderson selling his soul. what about Firmino, Fabinho, Mane and all the others?

Henderson made a rod for his own back, he was very vocal about LGBTQ+ rights. To be that vocal and then take the money from a country where it's illegal looks massivley hypocritical and the reason he is getting so much backlash.

Personally I don't blame him for going and taking the money, but you can't then complain when people call you out.

Because it makes him look a total hypocrite.
He could have helped himself a little by saying the move was about a final payday and still getting game time in the twilight of his career but he’s not really helping himself with his recent interviews.

He wore the rainbow armband and stood there saying what it stood for and supporting the emblem the others didnt. It was interesting when he was revieled that all the pics of a rainbow armband was blurred out only regular armband shown you reap what you sow.

I don't even understand why the story got any traction. His decision to make a move was where the conversation ended. All these micro topics that generate twitter warriors is actually tiring.

Football players are not the brightest bunch and should probably keep their mouths shut about politics and social issues unless they know how to walk the walk. Hendo is just digging a deeper hole by trying to justify his hypocrisy now. His advisors need to explain to him that its his feet that generate fame and popularity, not the void between his ears.
