Haven't been this upset since Kenny resigned. Thanks Jurgen for everything. Truly a legend. I hope this had a galvanising effect on the team and they give eveything for him for the rest of the season.

Just heard - absolutely gutted but at the same time so thankful for all that he brought us, sparkling entertaining football, and a sackful of trophies. Thank you Jurgen and good luck with whatever you do next.

Can't believe it. timing is not great though. but he can't go on forever. what a manager and man klopp is . going to miss him being on the sidelines.

There are no "good" times for such announcements. The club and the layers have known this since Nov; and wre doing an absolute madness since then so clearly, the timing is not an issue. They have been playing for him ever since he announced it to them.
