Hey Ed's how about this for a 'poll of the day' question. How long will it take for Rafa and Ronaldo to fall out? I give it 3 months tops. can't wait for Rafa to show the petulant surly pre-Madonna who the daddy is!

Ronaldo has way too much power at Real. If it comes to that, the guy who will be taking the bullet will be Rafa, not Ronaldo, who their cossetted fans cannot get enough of.

Madrid have always had big egos at the club.

It's water off a ducks back for them.

They come and go in the typical Madrid fashion.

They love it!!!!!!

Rafa won't actively try to create a conflict with Ronaldo, or "put him in his place" unless Ronaldo falls out with the Real Madrid hierarchy, or decides he wants to play elsewhere and starts looking for a move. Why? Because Rafa knows that taking on Ronaldo whilst he's still wanted and liked at the club would be begging to be sacked.

And tbh, although I'm not a Ronaldo fan, and although it may appear to outside observers that he's vain, in love with himself and can't bear to share the limelight, considering how physically fit and how good a player he has been for a long time, it's a dead cert that goes about his day to day business as a footballer very professionally, so there may be no cause for them to fall out and no need for one to take on the other.

And petulant, surly, pre-Madonna's tend to have been at more than three clubs by the time they're 30 too. No matter how good they are.

Pre-Madonna reminds me of my brother-in-law explaining the phrase 'to err is human, to forgive divine' (actually he didn't know the second part!)

So he said to us " you know, to err is human, like when people say 'err'!" .bless!
