Ed's - who else can we realistically expect to see brought in by the end of the window? I appreciate it'll be quite difficult to say for certain but is there anyone likely to get the fans excited? It's frustrating as a fan at the minute to see the all the big names being attracted to our rivals. As excited as I am for
Mane, I wouldn't exactly call him a household name.

When was the last time we bought a player you were generally 'excited' about and was a big name? For me, the ones I end up liking the most are the ones I had barely heard of previously- players like Kuyt, Benayoun, Agger, etc.

Agreed Burkeyboy. If we had kept Konchesky for another season, league title number 19 would have been in the bag in 2011. KK should have been sacked just for trying to replace Konchesky. At least that is what his mother thought.
