I am luck enough to visit the players lounge courtesy of Carlsberg a lot. Last season I attended a few Europa games at Anfield.

Words coming from a few of the ex players was that IF we didn't get in the CL this season Coutinho would be a certainty to move on, with PSG being the likely destination.

With Pogba almost certainly being sold, I can't help fear for us loosing this young man!

And I don't think LFC would snub a big offer. My other big worry is, who do we see as a replacement? Maybe Goetze?

Thoughts welcome.

I don't think we need a replacement while we have Firmino and Lallana still.

As much as I think Lallana is improving and Firmino had a not bad first season, I do still think Philipe is a good few levels above! The main thing being his finishing.

Mane?

Lallana wouldn't come anywhere near Coutinho except his little tricks and gimmicks. He is not even ahead of Mane let alone Coutinho.

Game of thrones, Klopp seems to like Lallana pal and hopefully will be an important squad member next season.

Lallana can dribble, shot with both feet and run like a duracell bunny all match long, the only problem is that he is yet to find his scorin form. The difference between he and Coutinho is that has more shots at goal, but his conversion rate is VERY poor. If a big offer comes sell Coutinho.

To the original poster, Ed 02 been saying same things for ages.

Still don't see the correlation between pogba and coutinho. The fella has already told the club, his team mates and the press he is looking to leave. Jia koborchian has also put his two pence worth in so this news is not new. But again what has it to do with Juventus and pogba. You also mention he is miles better than firmino in particular at finishing, but firminos goal tally last season says different. Few inconsistecies with your reasoning fella.

Yes because selling our best players has worked over the past 10 years? Keep Couts. Sell Benteke, Balo, Skrtel etc.

Xep

He hasn't found his form both at the club and England for about 3 years and TBF he wouldn't ever as he is at his limit. Klopp likes his work rate, unfortunately that's all he contributes.
Watch him closely as he doesn't run all day, first 20 Mts of the first half and 10 Mts of second half, the team carries him rest of the match.
Only £5 mill less than Benteke.

Xpert, Lallana has all the talent but his productivity is piss poor which is why to me, he's wasting his and our time here. He can't play on the right because Mane is better, can't play in the middle because Firmino is better and scores more, can't play on the left because Couts is better and scores more so again, how can he be a starter? because Klopp likes him? Nonsense. I would do all I can to keep Couts for one more season and if an offer came for Lallana, sell him. You don't sell your best players, at least not when they want to leave. You keep them as long as you can and then sell like we did with Suarez.
