Am glad Hendonsign new contract as part of value preservation. It's a prelude to selling him. I don't see report stating it is "improved" contract, meaning the terms are not as attractive. Well it commensurate with performance since most of time Hendo just keeps "rythm" of game by backpassing and finger pointing to others where to pass ( well ignored by VVD most of time)

Hendo's treatment reminds of the same kind of comments Dietmar Hamann used to get. Just because he doesn't always do 50 yard "Gerrard-esque" diagonal balls, or score 30 yard screamers, people come up with rubbish like the OP. He does the dirty work which hardly ever gets praise, people don't appreciate the solid, unspectacular stuff.

So get him to sign up just after the window has finished so we can sell in January for more? Why not just give him away as part of any future Markovic deal?
