A season with more low points than hig ones, but not without its positives. Watching the youngsters starting to break through is always a big plus. Fingers crossed Jones picks up where he left off too, he'll be gutted the season is coming to an end/.

I know what you mean @FPF but the next three months are going to be really boring. No matter how we play - and this season we were very poor by our recent standards for the first two thirds of the season - I always look forward to the match.

SB is by far the biggest positive of this season.

Some positives Alisson - incredible season. Let’s not forget that. Bajcetic, Jones coming back for last third of season, Gakpo who is the best Firmino replacement we could get. The top three of Jota/ Gakpo/ Salah has goals in it.

Other than that I’m struggling. The midfield has been woeful, defensively embarassing often.

The negatives: Van Dijk, TAA at functional right back, Henderson, Fabinho, Gomez, Matip. Not difficult to see where our issues are.

The average: Nunez, Salah (overall play), Konate, Robertson, Milner.

The infuriating: Firmino/ Keita/ Ox/ Thiago due to constant injuries.

4 quality players coming in could change much. More energy in midfield. Increase competition at centre back.

I was dissapointed by Jones again today i really thought that Leicester game was the beginning of something but he's been useless the 2 games since. He's not an 18 year old breaking into the team anymore he's going into his 5th season. Time to start performing consistently we don't need passengers if we want to compete with City.
