Don't really post much but I've been a fan of the site for a long time. I just wanted to pass my congratulations on to Benny and Ed001 on there fantastic first pod.

It was a great listen and I'm looking forward to hopefully many more. Like probably most of the other posters I can't get enough info about our beloved club, so another pod to listen to is a fantastic idea.

The site is continuing to evolve and pick up new fans which only speaks volumes about the hard work of the Eds and all the guys who post on a regular basis. I mightn't always agree with the posts but I can certainly say they have given me another perspective on the way I look and think about Liverpool.

As I said earlier, I don't post often but thank you all for making this such a great place for us fans to visit. Even shy ones like myself. Enjoy the season guys, I'm feeling strangely,optimistic.

{Ed001's Note - thank you mate, fingers crossed it is a great season and we can do pods about how great we played at the weekend all season long!}

Testament to the fans of LFC and the Ed's that's doing a stellar job. Well done guys

{Ed001's Note - thanks mate.}

It will be a great season don't worry Ed001. It tends to be when i post regularly throughout the season And i intend to do so this year like i did whem we finished 2nd. Remember i was banned for most of last season. So you can make the correlation 😂

{Ed001's Note - is this your way of ensuring one of the other editors slaps a ban on you? You need to keep those things to yourself mate or Ed025 will be tracking down your IP and giving you a lifetime ban!}

Ed001
Damn it.Yes forgot about that.will have to keep changing my ip now. Will have to distract ed025 with southern comfort. But don't worry were going to wim the league this year( or at least be top with 3 games left) as long as i keep posting

Hi guys, hope you are all well and looking forward to the new season.

Regarding the Suarez situation, I hope will sell him quickly because while none of us can question his fantastic ability as a player he seems to be really lacking respect for our club.

I understand that champions league football is important to player and I really do believe that if he went to the club at the end of the season and behind closed doors explaining his desire for a move then this could have gone a lot better.

He has done great things for us on the pitch and I understand that what he did to Ivanovic and evra were wrong. We knew when buying him he was hot headed and flawed like many greats are.

He has gone on to repeatedly disrespect the club and has spat in the face of all the players, staff and fans who stood shoulder to shoulder with him and backed him to the hilt.

I remember many people saying when they heard his remarks about being hounded by the media they had little sympathy for him and I agree with them on that front. Why has he then instructed his agent to contact English clubs on his behalf.

I agree with some of the Eds who say that it wouldn't be a bad thing if he was sold to another English club because no matter what crap he spouts about loving Liverpool he clearly doesn't and he does not have the right character to be a Liverpool player because you are not just representing this great club on the pitch but are representing it all of the time in your actions and words as well as your behaviour off the pitch.

I just have a quick question for you guys. Why are top clubs like Liverpool, United, Arsenal etc. almost always quoted more for a player than so called smaller clubs like Fulham or Swansea for example?

Thanks a million to all the Eds for their tireless work and I hope you all know how greatful we all are for your hard work and honesty.

Hope all my fellow reds are well and I look forward to hopefully a great season ahead. Take care guys.

Johnnyd sounds like you might be on the same Ryanair flight from Dublin as me mate. Witherspoons in the city centre opens very early for breakfast and i'm sure they sell drink from 9 or 10.

I'm on the 8am flight home Sunday morning so I'll be staying dry.

I'd just like to comment on one point that the original poster made because the rest is quite frankly a work of fiction. I'm open to being corrected on this but I believe that Brendan did in fact win manager of the year for the season in question and did not lose out to a great escape.

As I said, I may be wrong on the issue but I think he was named manager of the year that year.

Lastly just a quick thanks to Macca for the information and I am firmly in the Klopp camp. I can however completely understand the attraction of bringing in a manager like Carlo to provide an experienced head to steady the ship. I won't claim to know a lot about De Boer's management style but I think we need someone a bit more experienced at present.

Very well put mate, I'm sure there are many more readers who feel your frustrations and just don't post for whatever reasons. The only thing I'd like to comment on is that you are absolutely spot on about the atmosphere inside Anfield being a shadow of its former self.

Nobody expects the Chelsea 05 atmosphere every week but fans need to realise that their vibes either good or bad directly affect the players on the pitch. I've heard lots of arguments about who's to blame, day trippers, older fans, season ticket holders etc and it's up to every section of the fan base to try do there bit if they are lucky enough to attend a game.

I travel from Ireland 4/5 times a season to watch games and if we can somehow get ourselves back to the support of the second half of 13/14, then the players will no doubt get a big lift. You can say the players need to do their bit but let's be honest which is more fun from a fans point of view, attending a game and sitting there with a negative attitude or showing up a bit early to welcome the team and sing, cheer and help create an environment that will make Anfield a fortress again.

Honestly Ed002 how can you call us the worst fans in world football ? Why do you find it necessary to belittle our supporters on a daily basis ? I fully understand that you must see plenty of spiteful, hate filled& ridiculous posts during your time spent editing but calling us the worst fans in world football is a pretty spiteful thing to come out with in my opinion.

Like most on here I appreciate your valuable information and insight into the inner working of the game but I must admit I find it hard to read your continuous belittling of our fan base. Is there any possibility that in the future you could tone down your replies in regard to making such generalised statements.

Jaffer81

{Ed002's Note - I have never come across worse fans in all of world football - disproportionality high numbers loathe the owners, past players, present players, potential future players, the manager and any of the other staff they can find the names of. Long gone are the days of knowledgeable Liverpool fans. The majority of the posts are simply spewing hate over everyone associated with the club.}

The plane was apparently paid for by Manchester United fans guys. I use the word apparently because of course I have no proof, only going on what has been doing the rounds.

On a separate note, I'd like to pass my sincere condolences on to Rio and the entire Ferdinand family. It's very sad when anyone so young passes away and especially when young kids are left without a parent, god bless them.
