1st time poster but long time reader. Hi guys. Just like to say cracking job Ed's and I have to say from viewing this site for quite a while, big respect to Rob Keague. Love his positivity and respect his views. Anyway, enough of the love in, my views on the upcoming season:
Versatile, very strong attacking line up. Regardless whether Couts stays (and of course I hope he does), we have some very creative and exciting attack minded players that are all clever enough to unlock the tightest of defences of any given day.
Yes, I do believe we need some more strength in defence, but we have some young players with great potential. I know they are not ready yet eg. Gomez and TAA, but my point is, rather than spending huge amounts on 1/ 2 defenders now, maybe a couple of quality older players? Provide competition now, and more importantly, role models and 'teachers' to improve our potentials?
