Guys, looking at what's happening the last couple of days it looks a mess. However I have never been satisfied that our back room staff have been at a level that we need. If you go back through history all successful managers surround theirselves with top notch back room staff, Jose had Steve Clarke, Ferguson had mclaren, Kidd etc wenger does the same as did cloughie and we all know our history of back room staff. Maybe they have looked at this and decided that simply throwing away brendan and taking the chance on someone else is not the right approach. the more we surround the club with top notch coaches the easier the managers job becomes, I don't think it's anything to do with Brendan throwing people under the bus to save his skin, no matter how good a manager you are if the coaches aren't doing their job it's an impossible task.

It doesn't really matter how good the rest of the coaching staff are, you need someone in charge, who knows what they are doing and are ruthless, willing to make the decisions, call the shots, BR doesn't do this adequately, and surrounding him with great coaches will mean nothing, he probably won't listen, its why he surrounds himself with 'yes' men.
