Today, Balanta really doesn't look like the player he once promised to be. An unlucky run of injuries over the last few years has interrupted his progress, and nowadays he looks shaky, prone to error and perhaps lacking in confidence.
At 23 he still has time to develop. But see above for the reasons that European clubs are yet to pull the trigger on him.

Haha, the U20 World Cup. I remember when Pongolle was top scorer and Le Tallec was named player of the tournament. I'm sure that experience was invaluable to them.

What's that, that Milner is a better left back than Moreno? Maybe he is, marginally, but the bottom line is that neither are good enough for where we want to be, hence all the posts about it on here.

No one questions Milner's attitude. It's his ability (at left back) that's the problem - and it's a big one.
