Can I just say that I feel Moreno could do more than a good job as cover for left wing once Robertson has our secured left back position.

Moreno would be perfect as a wing back with 3 cbs behind him. He does other a lot going forward but feel he will always be targeted by opposition as he is the weakest defensively.

{Ed001's Note - why do we get someone suggesting this every couple of days? Do people not bother to find out about their own team's players these days? Moreno was a winger, he was not good at it, but they liked his technique and his attitude at Sevilla, so they converted him into a fullback, as is now the norm there. He is perfect for the wingback role in Spanish football, as they are not really expected to defend, just to fill in spaces at the back. He is not, under any circumstances, the answer to any kind of cover on the left wing, as we already have a slew of kids in the youth team who can do that job much better.}

Ed, it's just laziness, IMO. People would rather listen to pundits' opinion on a player instead taking the time and effort (I know, it's tough, LOL) to watch games and watch players themselves.

Moreno is inconsistently good and consistently bad. Not a great combo, he had been in the shop window but i suspect there have been no takers at the price the club wants for him.

Moreno is an enthusiastic lad and that endears him to people, but come on actually watch him play, most of the times attacking moves break down because of him because his final ball is dreadful, he does not have the intelligence or ability to be a winger. Gareth Bale is a one off, you cannot just take a poor LB and turn him into a good winger!
