Here we are yet again 2 weeks from deadline day. Our 2 major (and only it seems) targets looking like neither are going to happen. And to top it off we are likely to lose arguably our best player. Why do we do this to ourselves? If there ever was a summer to really go for it in the transfer market, this was it. I worry that when deadline day comes and we have no one else on board we will declare our squad as "strong enough" to cope. I hope I am wrong I really do.

Might be waiting to confirm our Champions league place before going again for our two main (expensive) targets. Plus if we signed all our players at the start of the transfer window we'd miss out on all the random ITK's. We'd still end up whinging until the end of window how the club lack ambition by not signing anyone.

Then what happens if we don't make CL?
It'd be more umportant to improve the squad as all our rivals for top 4 have strengthened considerably.

I firmly believe we will land vvd and the ox and hang on to couts for one more year. Cannot see klopp being happy by saying we will not sell couts and then sell him! The question now is simple, do FSG want a crack at glory or just the money. I am keeping the faith.

RR, Ox can stay well clear of LFC as he is pants, end of. On the other parts of your posts, I fully agree. FSG must not budge on this or they will be sending the wrong message to the fans and other players in the dressing room. Cou is not for sale and for now based on the Echo, Sky Soports and Guillem Balague on Twitter, we are holding the line for now at least.
