Goodness sake. Fans need to calm down give themselves a shake. Over reacting sack klopp etc. Hopefully these people are never in a job where a mistake is followed by a sacking.
Call a meeting, speak to all involved work out it went wrong, then work out how to not make the same mistake again and find away to do something PR wise make the club look less shambolic.
I am sure other clubs will still do business . If the money is right and that is what we need to do. Offer something that isn't disrespectful to the club, the player and the market, which is what we always do.

I think a lot of fans, myself included, were swept up by all the hype and excitement over the possible signing of Van Dijk. But I think we need to remember the players we have, and how they fought so hard in the final few games to get us into a Champions League place despite us having injuries to key players and a much weaker squad than the other teams competing for top four.
Whilst it's disappointing how this whole VVD saga has turned out, we still have a great Manager and some very good players. If we can strengthen the squad in some key areas this summer. we've still, git a lot to look forward too.
Onwards and upwards I say.

Well said -it's a major embarrassment and I hope however was involved gets a massive slap and then we need to take our medicine and move on and never do this sort of thing again.
