Hi Ed, new to this so try and bear with me. I was wondering if the club might be thinking of renewing kolo toure's contract? With Sakho maybe looking at a hefty ban, not to mention the impressive performances of late of kolo himself, this might not be a terrible idea if someone new comes in at CB. Thanks.

I hope it happens. I was one of the ones who labelled him as "not of EPL level" last year and earlier this year, but he has won me over with his recent performances. The team needs a few experienced reliable "oldies", like Lucas, who can provide leadership and direction on the field and in the dressing room.

I was delighted when we signed Kolo and couldn't believe Bodgers played Skrtel over him. He has a EPL winners medal, so he was more than good enough and still is imo. I think kolo and agger started the first ten game of the season when we came 2nd and i think we kept a fair phew clean sheets, then Skrtel got back in and our defence became dire again. Just shows you how good Klopp is, because even I could tell Kolo was / is better than Skrtel but Bodgers and his staff couldn't, well they did for first 10 games or so. Am I right?

I was just wondering if it is possible to unpack the current position of Liverpool's transfer window. Apologies if you have already answered this, but does Robertson signal the end of spending until we can sell off the unwanted personal (Sakho, Moreno, Markovic and maybe others who escape my memory right now) . Reading through this today and I can't believe some people are being so harsh to Emre Can for wanting to go elsewhere right now. The minute Courtinho got pushed back into a deeper role, it seemed the writing was on the wall. But now with a new left back, which frees up Milner to move back central, hendo hopefully coming back fit and just a plethora of other talent (wijnaldum, Lallana, Grujic, Ejaria) and the pursuit of Keita, how does it make sense to stay in a world cup year.

It's not competition if the best player at the club is being dropped back into midfield and the club are trying to also sign another midfielder for a record fee. Kudos to Can for realising this.

If Milner gets gametime over Can in CM than we have a really big problem, Can is probably our best midfielder atm.
