Does anyone know why Diaz seems so keen to get out, is it just money? Or am i reading too much in to internet stories.

No question Diaz will go. Bayern rarely pay market value so this one will go to the wire. Diaz's team was making Barcelona noises last season so no surprise with him on comparatively low wages.

I already told this. Liverpool made diaz available for sale and that's a clear indication for player. Liverpool were reluctant to offer a new deal and had decided diaz is disposable.
Why would as a player you still show commitment to a management that has made you available for cx amount?
Why always spin it on the player?

@SG84EVA - Díaz has two years left on his contract and is happy to stay at Liverpool, but he wants an extension, which the club aren’t willing to offer. Meanwhile, both Barcelona and Bayern are keen to sign him and would gladly give him a four or five-year deal with a pay rise. Al Nassr are also interested, offering significantly higher wages. With multiple attractive options on the table, Díaz is now pushing for a move, as other clubs are offering him everything Liverpool won’t.

Maybe because said player his FATHER and agent. Have flirted with Barcelona for the past 18 months. Not surprised the clubs happy to let him go if a good offer is made!
Not always the clubs fault either.

Diaz has been flashing his ass to FCB almost the entire time he's been in L4, and he's on 140k, not 55 as reported.
The question now is, whoever buys him needs to pay up so the Saudi's best show their hand ASAP, rather than try and unsettle us by bidding late.

The truth lies somewhere between the two.

Looks like a lot of business still to be done in this window from Liverpool. With the passing of Jota. Nunez and Diaz both leaving will force our hand. Then there’s the Konate stuff, very busy summer

Striker, Winger and Centre back at the minimum 100% on the cards.

He either sees out his contract or Liverpool have to accept an offer that meets their valuation. Liverpool hold all the cards here.

Why would Diaz put in a transfer request when the club have told him he’s up for sale? More guesswork.

First thing.

He has a 10 year career and no real ties to Liverpool.
He has to make as much money as he has the opportunity to.
He might want to play in different leagues and experience new cultures.
Each move makes him wealthier.

Second:

95% of “I heard this is happening” claims made on this site never happen. Getting wound up about stories made up in the press by people to who it is contingent upon their continuing employment to garner clicks and views is an exercise is futility.

Reality is awful, concentrate on that.

Agreed Thunderbird, by putting in a transfer request wouldn’t he lose his 5% of the transfer fee? Makes no sense to do that if he is up for sale ?‍♂️.

Why0why, I may have read this wrong but are you complaining because not all of the rumours on a rumour site are fact?

We spent all last season saying everybody’s contract should be sorted out two years before the active contract is up. Isn’t that what the club is doing with Diaz? If we get a good offer we are happy to sell. Seems like an indication that the club has made it’s long term decision re Diaz.

People should stop spouting rubbish when they have no idea what is going on inside the club
The so called 'In the knows' know nothing and have no idea. It's laughable to read on a daily basis but also cringeworthy
Rumours are exactly that, but coming on here to make out you actually know stuff is not only boring but also embarrassing.

@RD, it’s just a rumours page for fans. If you find it is getting to you, just read ‘in my opinion” as the missing first three words of what’s actually been written.

I’m just going to read RD. He’s the ombudsman of the group, a walking continent of commonsense… in my opinion.

Monty-1981

Yes, you absolutely have read that wrong.

It’s a rumours site. My point is to not get upset or angry that said rumour doesn’t come to fruition. Don’t believe said player is actually trying to leave. Don’t be affected by a rumour site or any rumour site when they are largely waffle.
