Fabio Carvalho is off to Brentford for £20 million.
1.) 10 Aug 2024 15:53:45
+ add ons!
2.) 10 Aug 2024 15:54:32
Hope the add ons are good and a sell on clause. Looked like he had potential hopefully he gets the game time he needs.
3.) 10 Aug 2024 16:03:55
Seen that thunderbird.
We’ve gone all the way out to America to determine we need a DM and and Carvalho is to be sold.
4.) 10 Aug 2024 16:09:26
£7.5m add ons and 17.5% sell on.
5.) 10 Aug 2024 16:12:30
So does anyone have a clue what lfc are doing behind the scenes or atleast a theory
Because it does seem all a bit strange.
{Ed014's Note - I think the club tiddly winks championship is in full flow so everyone’s a little tucked up right now.
6.) 10 Aug 2024 16:18:24
Good piece of business for all concerned! Carvalho is at the age where he needs to be playing and developing but that wasn’t going to happen at Liverpool given how Slot plays and how well stocked we are in Carvalho position.
7.) 10 Aug 2024 16:59:14
In fairness it’s a great price.
Would have been perfect if this deal was done a few weeks ago and some of our own signings were in the door and having some sort of pre season with Slot.
I’m not buying this Slot wanted to have a look at the squad malarkey. Because Carvalho travelled and actually did well and is still being sold.
Let’s call an orange and orange and admit Carvalho was always being sold and a dm was always needed like it’s been said in here for months.
8.) 10 Aug 2024 17:34:40
Back end of the season we all know which positions we were short in. 7 days till the new season and we haven’t done anything ???.
9.) 10 Aug 2024 17:57:32
Isn't it clear that Slot is here to maximise the youth system and to show good young players that there is a pathway to the first time, much in the way Jurgen has, but perhaps more so.
Slot needs to see who is going to take to his system and step up.
10.) 10 Aug 2024 17:57:48
Kaide Gordon to Swansea on loan apparently happening. Nice move for him there.
11.) 10 Aug 2024 17:59:21
People getting upset because Richard Hughes said July would be quiet and August would be busy and that’s exactly what’s happening ?.
12.) 10 Aug 2024 18:19:56
Who’s getting upset?
13.) 10 Aug 2024 18:47:33
Best of luck to Carvalho. I think it could have worked out for him here but just not to be.
14.) 10 Aug 2024 19:31:44
Hopefully Liverpool won’t turn into the shambles Utd have been with transfers over the last ten years. It’s not been good optics so far.
15.) 10 Aug 2024 20:59:37
Good piece of business in my opinion.
16.) 10 Aug 2024 23:13:30
You've touched a nerve TB2.
Comical stuff.
17.) 10 Aug 2024 15:50:20
Eds, with that quick Carvalho transfer, can we hope for any movement on the Gordon deal?
{Ed002's Note - It is unrelated.}
29 Mar 2021 08:03:59
According to the Athletic Liverpool are in the process of finalizing a deal for Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.
1.) 29 Mar 2021 08:26:52
Is that the centre back?
2.) 29 Mar 2021 08:33:40
Absolute beast of a CB. Just hope his recent injuries are due to growth or bad luck.
3.) 29 Mar 2021 08:57:52
Seems to be all over social media and news outlets, could be BS but there looks a lot of places running the story.
Fair play to this site and the Ed’s they said Konate when all the rumours where of Upamecano and other players and I think Ed2 is a big fan and said he was the one he wanted us to sign?
On a side note the fee is susposidly 33m just over the threshold of the 32.5m bet!
{Ed001's Note - no that was me who wanted us to sign him, a couple of years back now before his injury problems. He was a very good right-back then too.}
4.) 29 Mar 2021 09:00:27
Thunderbird it’s starting to spread now all over the internet mate.
BREAKING: Liverpool working to finalise deal for Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig. Not done but significant progress made + LFC pursuit of 21yo French centre-back now advanced. Likely his ~€40m release clause will need paying.
5.) 29 Mar 2021 09:15:30
Ornstein has reported it and he’s normally very reliable. Not sure adding a defender with such bad injury issues is the most sensible thing in the world, but no argument about his ability when fit.
6.) 29 Mar 2021 09:31:30
Interesting signing. Definitely has all the Jurgen Klopp key characteristics of a centre back. Hopefully his injuries will curtail. I wonder what we will do with the other options if this gets completed. Davies, Kabak, Matip, Gomez. I assume Matip will be moved on and maybe Liverpool won’t take up the option of Kabak?
7.) 29 Mar 2021 09:40:30
His injury record is similar to VVD's prior to when he joined us.
He's had one big injury with torn muscle fibers that's kept him out for an extensive period (almost a whole season) and since that an Ankle injury which he has recovered from.
Provided he's over his long term muscle issue I think he could be a shrewd signing.
8.) 29 Mar 2021 09:42:17
Ed I hope we keep matip too then!
9.) 29 Mar 2021 09:43:53
Let's get koulibaly when we play fifa too😂😂😂then in game we can go undefeated haha.
10.) 29 Mar 2021 09:51:18
Just what we need another one to spend more time in the treatment room 🙄.
11.) 29 Mar 2021 09:56:27
Why have you listed Gomez as one of your ‘moved on’ players Champs?
If there’s one CB that doesn’t fit the Klopp profile it’s Nat Philipps?
12.) 29 Mar 2021 10:24:05
So could be VVD and Konate as starters.
Gomez, Phillips and Davies as the back ups.
Probably Losing Matip, sending Kabak back and sending some of the kids on loan?
Looks good to me on paper at least.
But I suppose the back ups depend on if a club can be found for Matip, if Phillips wants to leave to get game time and if Davies wants to stay or not, or if we even want to keep him. Then we have the option of keeping Kabak as well in that case.
In any case I would want us to be slightly overstocked at CB for next season, VVD and Gomez have been hit by serious injury and will take a while to get up to speed, plus Konate has had his fair share, so would make sense to have an extra back up in my eyes.
13.) 29 Mar 2021 10:33:58
I don’t know much about him but I know he’s rated!
Then I read he’s missed over 40 games in 11 months he moves Matip and Keita out of the spot light at that going!
Is he over the injuries does anyone know?
14.) 29 Mar 2021 10:50:09
He had torn muscle fibres which kept him out for a season pretty much, listed as 3 separate injuries because it was recurring (think he was rushed back) .
Since then no muscle issues but recently was out with an ankle injury, 9 games missed, but has since recovered.
15.) 29 Mar 2021 11:10:58
We won't touch him with a barge pole.
Those injuries will keep him at RB for a few years until he can prove he's overcome them. They are redicously substantial and in areas that will reoccur.
90-150 days each time.
He is quality but I just don't believe for one second we will take a risk. Not unless it was a really cut price deal. If, however, we have 40 million available for a cb then i think we will go elsewhere. Just to caveat that 'cut price deal' it might be a Jota style one, 40 million but over many years. Then I could see it happening.
16.) 29 Mar 2021 11:23:10
The Juicer, show me on this dummy where Phillips hurt you.
17.) 29 Mar 2021 12:19:17
We are always quick to call players injury prone but when you look at it he has one serious injury. If he is available for the money mooted he could be a great buy.
18.) 29 Mar 2021 13:05:53
Hey the Juicer, I wasn’t suggesting we move him on, I think more likely that matip, Philips, Davies or Kabak will be moved on. It may reduce playing time for Gomez unless Klopp goes against his usual formation and changes to 3 at the back (highly unlikely IMO)
19.) 29 Mar 2021 13:11:13
phillips, matip and davies to move on.
leaving us with virgil, gomez, kabak, konate.
does any one think with 4 decent CB's we could move to 3 at the back?
20.) 29 Mar 2021 22:51:36
Konate and Jules Kounde are the French U21 centre backs. What brilliant players to have at that level.
21.) 30 Mar 2021 09:12:42
Jordz. What do you mean one injury?
Like same injury over and over. Or a prolonged one that he hasn't gotten over yet? Because if you mean the latter then you are wrong.
The guy has has some really long and serious injuries. Yes he is growing, fast and young. It might well straighten itself out but you can't pay 40 million for the risk. I would rather pay 70 million in 3 years knowing he has been injury free for that time.
18 Dec 2020 20:53:42
ESPN claiming that Liverpool have an interest in Brighton's Yves Bissouma.
1.) 19 Dec 2020 03:52:29
If there's any truth to that, it means curtains for Gini and Keita.
Keita is surplus anyways (Jones has effectively taken up his spot) while Bissouma would be the Gini replacement.
2.) 19 Dec 2020 08:26:46
There’s an awful lot of Gini replacements about?
First it was Thiago, then Jones and now maybe this guy 😃
on Wijnaldum’s situation but it does feel like there could be some considerable squad surgery carried out next Summer.
3.) 19 Dec 2020 08:33:46
* on Wijnaldum’s situation.
4.) 19 Dec 2020 09:49:02
Julian Draxler and David Alabaster both out of contract in the summer are more likely targets for me.
5.) 19 Dec 2020 12:22:28
Draxler is c**p and Alaba's wage demands are astronomical. No thank you to both.
Also, we need to start signing players in their early twenties rather than players at their peak or towards the end of their peak years. Maybe Lille's precarious financial situation can be used to sign some very talented young players they have got for cheap prices (Sven Botman, Jonathan David, Soumare etc) .
6.) 19 Dec 2020 12:32:48
That David Alabaster would be a real rock in the middle of the park.
7.) 19 Dec 2020 16:13:56
groan.
8.) 19 Dec 2020 23:39:19
I wouldn't sign Alabaster. Read that he's always plastered.
{Ed025's Note - love it mate..
19 Sep 2020 05:38:36
According to James Pearce we are only paying 10% of the Jota fee now, about £4 million, and we’ve only paid £5 million upfront for Thiago. So we’ve added Jota and Thiago this season for £9 million.
That’s excellent business.
1.) 19 Sep 2020 05:54:48
How good is that! Both top buys. Loving how we are doing these deals. Its like leasing these players yr on yr. Can we lease koulibally now as well? 🤣🤣🤣.
2.) 19 Sep 2020 06:53:03
FYI, Jota beat Trent in the ePremier League Invitation Final - so we now have a champion in eSport.
3.) 19 Sep 2020 08:12:40
On the never never.
4.) 19 Sep 2020 09:18:26
It's amazing business and and Edward's masterclass. However, how many fans will forget that we are still paying these deals off in future windows and complain that FSG aren't backing Klopp with any money or can't understand that we can win prize money but can't spend it.
5.) 19 Sep 2020 09:39:10
Trying not to put a negative spin on things but it's worth considering that paying such a small amount up front might have a negative effect of future transfer windows, the still has to be paid somewhere down the line and it could potentially be worse financially next Summer (no gate receipts, circa £84 million of the bottom line) . Just saying like.
6.) 19 Sep 2020 10:17:22
It's a fair point about future finances, but with this squad right now we might not need anyone next summer.
We've assembled a well equipped squad.
7.) 19 Sep 2020 11:01:38
Unless we have any horrendous injuries or big out goings, I expect the next 12 months to be very quiet in terms of transfers, but that's okay. The only thing we really need now is a CB. We've strengthened the attack with Minamino and Jota, and our MF is looking pretty stacked with the likes of Grujic and Thiago. Defense is pretty good and we got cover for Robbo. All in all looking like a very well rounded squad.
{Ed002's Note - Grujic won't be part of it - he is one of they players who has to leave.}
8.) 19 Sep 2020 15:59:47
With deals like this. I think they are taking into account C.V.. Sala. mane will be gone next year and jota hopefully with fill the boots. IMO dembele will be looked at as a loan to see if he can fill the gap.
9.) 20 Sep 2020 02:43:39
The likely pattern is that over next few years we will continue to strenghten our financial growth and this summer needed us to manage our spending efficiently so the fact we could still add 2 top players and not need to pay any substantial amount over next 12 months is the best deal possible. Surely we won't be as restricted in future years to struggle with paying those instalments that will hopefully turn out to be bargain buys as those 2 players bring us the quality that we often see clubs spending much more to add similar rated quality.
10.) 20 Sep 2020 08:14:42
Can see Sarr being brought in as well at some point, in prep for the boys to move on, which would be totally fair after 4 years good service. I wonder if Mbappe would dare choose us over Real.

28 Jan 2022 20:40:51
So wait, you are telling me we are in with a shout of 4 trophies this season and in our next game we could be adding Salah, Mane, Keita, Thiago, Elliott, Origi and Diaz to our squad?
So much for being in transition.
1.) 28 Jan 2022 22:07:26
Yes because suddenly one signing makes are options look stronger and it brings a refreshing energy to the squad, them players thunderbird has mentioned would be great if they all stay fit which will mean we are in business towards end of the season.
2.) 28 Jan 2022 22:12:14
It's too easy to say that because we've all had good news today and we're buzzing about it.
I don't think it's as bad as people make out but it's also not exactly a bunch of roses either.
No matter which way you cut it, thiago, mane, firmino and salah are all cracking on a bit now. Granted salah might play until he's much older but we need to afford his wage demands to keep him.
Yes we are doing well so far and it's nice to get a new signing but let's keep our feet on the ground eh? Hopefully everything works out but there's also a chance it won't no matter which way you cut it.
Also keita isn't everyone's cup of tea. I'd love him to work out. Same with minamino as I feel a bit sorry for him but they've been patchy at best. That's not a slight on either of them it's just calling it as I see it.
The trouble with stats is that you can look of them from multiple angles. Right now we are in 4 competitions and have players coming back but we could just as easily be out of the comps within 3 games and have a lot of those players leaving come summer.
Not saying don't be positive but there's far too many people bragging about being right at the moment. "I told you so" blah blah blah.
3.) 29 Jan 2022 02:20:37
It was absolutely clear we needed an attacker and a midfielder in the summer and we did not sign anyone. Spurs were pushing for him and that caught our arse to make the move this month. FSG was comfortably waiting for the summer.
25 Dec 2021 01:50:08
Any truth in the Feliz Navidad rumours?
1.) 25 Dec 2021 03:03:19
Brilliant T2😂😂😂.
2.) 25 Dec 2021 06:38:35
I think he is due to sign today, it would certainly make it a happy Christmas if he does mate.
3.) 25 Dec 2021 08:27:21
Feliz NabyLad.
23 Apr 2021 21:30:51
Probably not a fashionable choice but I enjoy watching Emile Smith Rowe.
1.) 23 Apr 2021 22:16:15
Through his bedroom window?
2.) 23 Apr 2021 23:49:45
Hahahaha finally something to laugh about.
06 Feb 2021 18:58:33
It’s odd that there is an obvious reason for the massive drop off this season yet people keep looking for other reasons. We have been dealing with horrendous injuries all season. Liverpool have 7 players who have missed 10+ league games this season, comparatively Manchester City have 1 player who has missed 10+ league games this season.
Yes there were poor performances even when everyone was fit but this team was top of the league not so long ago, we didn’t look ‘not hungry’ when Firmino was planting that header past Lloris.
No team in the world could cope with the injuries we have had, look at the drop off from Man City last season when they lost just one player, Laporte. The fact is this team has really struggled in the past 6 weeks because we are missing some of our best players and the rest of the lads have had to play virtually every game, they look tired.
1.) 06 Feb 2021 19:43:34
Tried to post pretty much the same earlier and I couldn’t agree more!
2.) 06 Feb 2021 19:49:28
These constant excuses must stop. They are of course reasons but we still should be beating Burnley, WBA, Fulham etc. WBA and Fulham are championship level. The players are sometimes using the injuries as excuses instead of looking after their own performance levels. Klopp has made many mistakes this season as well. If he knew the midfield was exhausted why is Jones not starting, for an example.
3.) 06 Feb 2021 20:09:25
The injury and tiredness argument would work if we weren't struggling almost exclusively against bottom half opposition. It's very easy to motivate yourself for a big game and a lot less easy when you are expected to win comfortably. We've looked perfectly fine against City, United, Arsenal, Everton, Chelsea, Leicester, Spurs, Wolves and West Ham. We have 27 points from a possible 33 against those sides. Hardly strikes me that injuries are significantly affecting the quality of the XI we can put out. Clubs have 30 man squads nowadays when you consider all the u21's they don't have to register. We had plenty of injuries last season. The only real difference is the knee injuries to the 2 guys at the back. Thiago and Jota missed significant game time but no more than Lallana and Shaqiri did last year. Matip, Ox and Keita miss most of every season.
So you must think it's just a massive coincidence the players only seem to be tired against teams we're expected to beat? I fully expect us to go out tomorrow and give City a game because the players don't need motivating in a games like this. I'm pretty sure the only top 10 team who have beaten us are Aston Villa and they did so very early in the season when everyone believed they would be relegated having only stayed up courtesy of Michael Oliver's broken watch.
I get it. You think the 13 points from 33 against lesser opposition is purely a coincidence we were tired those days and we have no issues getting up for the perceived lesser teams. Look man, i respect that you disagree. But all you're really saying is that you think the other 20+ players in our squad aren't good enough to cope without the 8 guys who are injured. The only difference between me and you is that I think they are good enough, but that we aren't mentally at it this season as a collective. Agree to disagree.
4.) 06 Feb 2021 20:15:53
What excuse mark we’ve los 5/ 7 starters a game take that from Utd Everton city and it’s the same it’s not a excuse it’s a fact mate your fringe players become your main players and so on can u not see that!
5.) 06 Feb 2021 20:28:48
It’s not even just the players were missing due to injuries, the team is completely disjointed due to losing Hendo and Fabinho from midfield. It must be demoralising for the players. We haven’t got a god forgiven right to beat everyone just because we are Liverpool.
Stick by the team and let’s get through this together.
6.) 06 Feb 2021 21:09:25
It’s not a full team of fringe player. Your favourite Thiago has been playing so have normally at least 2 of the front 3. Trent, Robbo. It’s half the first team normally plus 5 so called second string. But why can’t they play better against really poor sides? Fulham and wBA are rubbish at best. Why can’t our squad get more points against the rubbish sides? Many sides have had injuries but have much smaller squads than ours. Stop the excuses.
7.) 06 Feb 2021 21:27:30
Absolutely spot on Plymouth Red.
8.) 06 Feb 2021 22:39:56
Who is talking about a god given right? We are talking about getting some points against the bottom sides. We had to hang in there until some players regained fitness.
Some players haven’t been upto the job, some players aren’t as good as many thought and Klopp for whatever reasons doesn’t play Jones or Taki and the lb we bought they can’t get him upto speed.
In addition why didn’t so sort a cb much earlier at the beginning of the window? We have to look what we can and must do better not keep going over the same excuses we all know what they are.
The self styled mentally monsters need to step up.
9.) 06 Feb 2021 22:48:17
Mark Thiago isn’t doing what he can do because he’s coming back to Collect the ball he’s doing defensive duties He’s making rash challenges trying to be defensive that’s not his game! Our whole team is unbalanced! I get it annoyed dropping points at lower teams so are we all!
But I’ll answer back to the fringe player quote! Williams Jones shaq Philips ox origi wtc are nvr staters for us nvr will they be apart from the crisis we have! On top of that your 2 best centres are playin CBS’s so the defence is unstable hence AR and TAA bombing and staying forward Is flawed! So a team weakend by injuries is playing fringe players to cope! There’s lads on the bench now who I bet your even sayin who the f#%k is he! Injuries have done us and done us bad pal same players Wk in Wk out and they are shattered! Give it a rest u got a league title it’s a poxy season and year many will want to forget some died happy knowing we won it!
10.) 06 Feb 2021 23:27:46
Mark, we’re struggling because we can no long pin teams in their own half without Henderson and Fabinho in midfield. Teams don’t fear us anymore. We’ll see the best of Thiago once he’s got Fabinho and Henderson with him.
{Ed0666's Note - hopefully tommorow
11.) 07 Feb 2021 07:35:55
I agree with that Plymouth, I think everyone does. But whatever the circumstances we should never struggle v a side like WBA or Fulham. I agree Ed let’s get the pair in midfield tomorrow and get right after City.
12.) 07 Feb 2021 11:19:06
Mark, u ere nitpicking and choosing only one part of the problem to explain the bigger picture, which I find disingenuous and convenient.
This may be foreign to you but big teams struggle with bottom half teamsprinters teams adopting low block tactics, all the time. City struggled with it in the past two seasons (and this season) when teams like Saints, Palace, Wolves (twice) Utd (twice), Leicester, Spurs (Spurs and Leicester were this season) and so on. City lost all these games by the way and they did not have half their starting team out in any of these games btw. Utd, Arsenal, Spurs do as well with these teams and tactics at times.
You have to look at the big picture and you simply cannot make an argument that regardless if of the unprecedented amount of first team injuries we have, we should not be struggling vs these teams or those that low block us. We are a well oiled machine BUT with as many missing pieces out as we have, it is simply impossible to operate said machine at 100% vs these teams/ tactics every time. In fact, Any team with half the injuries to their first 11 would struggle already so why are you judging the team with such a high bar that you prolly know they can never meet?
As for digging out Thiago, are you going to act like you don’t know he is coming back from a dreadful injury and playing the 6 which is not his best position due to again, injuries or Fab and Hendo missing in midfield or is Thiago now your knew whipping boy after you left Bobbie alone for a while?
Either way, our issues have been well described here and in this thread slander we all know what the fundamental cause is. This is not complicated and you digging out players trying their best in a difficult situation won’t change the real cause of our issues.
09 Dec 2020 01:04:46
Well done to PSG and Istanbul Basaksehir for walking off the pitch after racist comments from the 4th official. Hopefully this sort of embarrassment finally brings some meaningful action from UEFA.
{Ed0666's Note - I willing to bet my wife and my car that UEFA go easy on the linesman.
1.) 09 Dec 2020 08:38:02
A certain John Barnes has a different view on this over on Twitter. He's kind of got a point but it depends on us knowing for definite what was actually said.
2.) 09 Dec 2020 09:21:58
Sheffield United have a better chance beating us at anfield this season than uefa inflicting proper punishment on the official. Tbh the way they deal with clubs is appalling so I'd actually feel sorry for the official if they dealt with him harshly as it will only be in response to uproar.
3.) 09 Dec 2020 09:54:53
@johnnyr1970 I had a look at that twitter thread and it has some interesting points of view. I have been travelling for more than 15 years now and I feel there is still so much I can learn about this topic.
4.) 09 Dec 2020 10:35:00
Andros, John is always very vocal in his opposition to racism on social media - rightly so - but the point he makes in his thread today is correct in my opinion. Given how much racist abuse he faced in his playing career then I'm happy to agree with him on this specific issue. A lot of people don't it would appear.
5.) 09 Dec 2020 13:24:06
I think John would make a good point if the fourth officials language was different. If you were to describe the only white fella in a crowd of black people would it be ok to refer to him as "the white guy"? Likewise the only black fella in a crowd of white people would it be ok to describe him as "the black guy"? However using the word negro which he did is obviously a different kettle of fish. The fact that both teams took exception to it and stood together shows it wasn't right and we should probably listen instead of excuse making. The Suarez debacle should at least have taught us that.
6.) 09 Dec 2020 14:02:49
OP, this is what needs to happen. The solidarity shown here by both teams (PSG have a ton of black players on their teams so that helps) is what MUST happen. Talk is cheap. Slogans and bumper stickers are nice BUT it is only by big and bold actions, that racism will be stamped out of football. Some people do not understand dialogue and consensus. They only understand consequences and in other case punishment, period.
If UEFA want to go easy on the official then, let them do it. I doubt cos the world is watching and they may just make an example of him due to that. If they go easy on him then, they are rewarding bad behavior and their whole anti-racism campaign ain't worth the paper or bumper sticker it is written on. Just my take.

Personally - my opinion - if someone called me a white guy if I was stood with a few black guys then I'd kind of expect it because it's the most obvious differentiator.
The guy last night used the Romanian word for black. I have serious doubts that his intent was to be racist, however he will be hung out to dry for it. It's the same with the Cavani issue, it's just a non story over cultural/ language differences and all the noise over it masks the true racism issues.

Johnnyr1970, The officials are instructed to speak English during game communication to anyone as in, players and officials. Why did he use the word Negru (which is Negro, the foundation word of the N word used during slavery) when he was supposed to speak English?
That word is a derogatory word cos it has been used in a demeaning, offensive and denigrating word to address black people for centuries. You may think Barnes has a point BUT he does not. People experience racism in multiple forms so I do not need Barnes to explain to me how I experience racism. Neiter does Pierre Webo, the assistant coach and the victim in this instance. Webo and myself, are capable of doing that ourselves, thank you very much.
Pierre Webo played in La Liga for years so I would defer to him on this issue and how players were racially abused at the time he played there. Apart from his opinion, John Barnes has nothing else to teach him. That is what you seem to be unable to grasp.
Furthermore, why would you address a person in his official capacity 5assistant coach or whatever) based on the color of his skin? That is the height of disrespect for the position he holds and just reducing him to being "just the black guy" is insulting in of itself. Again, another concept you do not understand. I dare you to go address a black man in his official capacity as just "the black guy" at your job and see what happens to you.

JK, you seem to be confused between the FIFA Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. The op asked about the FIFA Club World Cup.
