Question for Ed02 if they can answer,

Was wondering if you’re aware if liverpool hold any interest in manuel ugarte from sporting? I think he’d be a great fit for us.

{Ed002's Note - Manuel Ugarte (DM) Interest of Leeds went when Sporting refulsed to negotiate a reduction in his buy out clause and now want to give him a new contract and increase it.}

He does FlyPelicanFly, can’t be worse than Fabinho at the moment anyway, he’s done. Perhaps can help darwin settle in too. Cheaper than caicedo surely aswell.

I disagree that Fabinho is done. He's in bad form like the rest but has also suffered from the formation change leaving acres of grass around him all of the time.

If we were after Tchoumeni, who’s an out and out 6, it suggests we were looking to either get rid of Fabinho or change formation to a double pivot.
I can’t see Tchoumeni “sharing” a midfield position with Fabinho.
Perhaps they could see from the underlying stats that Fabinho was seriously dropping off.
Who’s knows really?

Ginger LFC great shout I think. A double pivot would make perfect sense to me given the amount of more attack minded young midfielders we have currently. Elliot, Carvalho and Jones don’t look fast suited to our traditional 8 roles or fast enough to play out wide.

i know we were scouting florentino luis. ed's do you know if liverpool might still be interested in him? checked him out on fbref. he looks as good as tchouameni imo but a bit less inclined to score.

also what's this about us being interested in mathias nunes? he hasn't really impressed me and just looks like a poor mans bellingham. why aren't we looking for bellingham and a more defensive 8 or a regista?
