Gini on loan if Twatter is to be believed.

Oh Mane Mane

1.) 20 Jun 2022 12:34:56
Not for one minute do I believe we would go back for Gini, we have moved on now and I would see that as taking away potential game time for Curtis, Harvey and Fabio. I would trust these can raise their games come out of this season a lot better for it.

2.) 20 Jun 2022 12:53:39
No thanks….

3.) 20 Jun 2022 12:59:25
Don't really want him back. But he could cover fabs or hendo if they weren't fit. The 1 thing with gini is he was always fit to play. A steady 7 out of 10 player.

{Ed001's Note - only if he was getting a 7 just for turning up! He was a ghost of a player, who would do one turn in 90 minutes and that would be enough for most fans to think he was actually contributing. He had maybe 3 games in his Liverpool career where he was better than, at the very best, a 6.}

4.) 20 Jun 2022 14:02:03
I'm with Ed001 on this. I think Gini had a subconscious attitude issue. His best games were always at Anfield against top 6 opposition or in European knockout stages. Away from home or any team below the top 6 he coasted and was borderline useless.

People often talk about his 2 goals against Barcelona, but forget that he was dropped from a decimated starting XI because he was so poor that season. I do think he had more than 3 good games, but i wouldn't say it was higher than 20 and that's across 5 seasons! Ox, Keita and Thiago were all signed to supplant him and Gini was fortunate they were all injured a lot.

Thank him for his service but for Fowlers sake leave him in the past where he belongs.

{Ed001's Note - it was an exaggeration I admit, to make a point, but I am not sure it was anything like as many as 20.}

5.) 20 Jun 2022 14:59:33
Is that the Barcelona game where Gini’s goals didn’t count and Origi won us the CL on his own?

6.) 20 Jun 2022 15:40:37
Bit harsh eds. Maybe I was generous when I said steady 7 too though. But as stated I don't really want him back. more so with the way he left. He wanted to leave so. goodbye.

7.) 20 Jun 2022 15:49:46
I'm not saying the didn't count JK, and that game will immortalize him in our history. But it says a lot about his time here that those 45 minutes are arguably the only stand out moment from over 200 games. I had no problem respectfully thanking him for his service, but that doesn't mean we have to be blinkered and pretend he was some kind of lynchpin. He was carried 90% of the time he played.

8.) 20 Jun 2022 16:17:47
Mk my commented wasn’t intentionally aimed at you. I just jumped on other comments in the past on the back of yours. If people were to be believed Origi also took that quick corner to himself that night and he was also the ball boy who retrieved it off the pitch ?.

9.) 20 Jun 2022 16:21:26
Mk just on your Wiji comment mate I’ve no intentions of wanting him back either. He moved on and so have we. I thought the lad did well for us when he was here and agree he was never great but I disagree with the fact that he shyed away from 90% of games.

The guy used to play 50 games a season so if he didn’t show up for 90% of them then that technically means we played with 10 men for 45 games a season. Klopps a world class coach but you don’t win titles playing with 10 men for 90% of a season.

Wiji did his bit but his LFC time is done.

10.) 20 Jun 2022 16:21:30
Gini was a different player for Holland. A goal scoring AMF.

I think part of the issue was that he played very tactically for Klopp and could really score when the manager gave him freedom.

Maybe his games for us were more tactical than most fans understand.

11.) 20 Jun 2022 17:03:25
I'm not saying he didn't show up, but in most games he was just a body. Cut out passing lanes, rolled a few 5-10 yard passes to a better player. Spun around in circles with the ball whilst surrounded by 3 players, which looked like grafting but was his own fault for playing at 3 miles an hour.

He was a weak link in a very good team. But then we'd play Man City or Bayern Munich and he'd suddenly put in some effort for the International TV cameras and often be one of the better performers. I found him incredibly frustrating because he had to ability, but i think he was mentally the weakest player in the starting line-up.

I'm not going to belittle other peoples differing views like MikeyB just tried to do. We all see the game differently after all. For me, Wijnaldum's greatest asset was his fitness. Like i say, he has his place in our history and by hook or crook he's 'earned it'. Just hope he stays in the history section, that's all.

12.) 20 Jun 2022 17:45:18
Strangely enough JK- wasn't the ballboy who gave the ball quickly to Trent v Barcelona a kid who ended up on our youth team? Tyler Morton or someone, or was that a myth?

13.) 20 Jun 2022 18:03:12
Shabby he is in the youth set up mate but it’s not Morton. I believe it’s Oakley Cannonier.

14.) 20 Jun 2022 19:18:20
Gini played his part and recycling the ball well. My issue with him was he only ever did the basics when is was clear he could have done more given his international showings. Yes international football standards are pants but he still hd ability but didn’t show it in a red shirt. If I had a penny for everytime I shouted at the tele because he didn’t show for a pass I’d pay off my mortgage. Still prefer him over Keita though just for being available to be average, rather than injured most of the time and average the rest.

{Ed0666's Note - I must say Gini shielded the ball extremely well.

03 Mar 2022 15:53:36
New "launch" of Super league to be presented shortly apparently 🤦‍♂️.

Oh Mane Mane

1.) 03 Mar 2022 16:10:40
This is going to end REALLY well.

2.) 03 Mar 2022 19:58:39
I'm not surprised tbh, and with the UCL proposals wanting an extra 100 games across the competition and possibly and extra 6 per team I'm not surprised.

Whether we like it or not its the natural progression but it has to be an open competition and not a closed shop.

But I do not want it to replace the domestic game, as much as liverpool vs Madrid is a glamour tie as an example. Nothing beats prem games imo.

3.) 03 Mar 2022 20:12:40
Ed002 you always have great insight on this, are these plans concrete? Just seems hectic this, playing 2 times a week all year, will just mean bigger squads for me, and top teams poaching more players.

{Ed002's Note - No, the "elite" sides continue to discuss the matter but will not meet again until August 24. Two sides are pressing hard.}

4.) 03 Mar 2022 21:23:55
Pushing hard for the new super league or the new champs league format Ed?

{Ed002's Note - Two sides have not let go of the super league concept.}

5.) 03 Mar 2022 22:53:41
They can shove it where the sun don't shine for me.
What is happening to the " beautiful game"? Super league, new champs league format, a world cup every 2 years? Europa conference league?

Football is going to hell in a handcart, once its becomes a closed shop format league then i am out, i will take my memories of supporting Lfc and stand back and watch rome burn.

Money has destroyed the game and its only going to get worse.

{Ed025's Note - your spot on KK..

6.) 03 Mar 2022 22:54:22
They need to let go of it in my opinion. The fan backlash was very strong last time and I don't think that will be changing any time soon.

7.) 03 Mar 2022 23:06:34
Some fan groups have asked to be part of discussions so it seems there is some feeling of inevitability even amongst fans.

8.) 03 Mar 2022 23:39:55
Are Liverpool involved in the August discussions.

{Ed002's Note - No.}

9.) 04 Mar 2022 00:36:33
I don’t actually mind the conference league to be honest but I also used to like the old cup winners cup competition so I’m used to 3 European competitions but yeah World Cup every two years is a no go for me and this super league nonsense has to disappear in my opinion.

12.) 04 Mar 2022 20:44:57
I mean, we might as well get this over with now while we're dealing with a C.V. and a possible WWIII outbreak. get all of these "once in a lifetime" events over and done with at once 😂.

27 Jan 2022 20:52:20
Club reject initial interest from Leeds and Monaco for Taki according to Sky. Doesn't say if its loan or permanent.

Oh Mane Mane

15 Dec 2021 20:18:18
Karius supposedly in talks with Greuther Furth from the Bundesliga over a move in January. Source: whoever is doing the commentary on the Dortmund game.

Oh Mane Mane

1.) 15 Dec 2021 21:42:19
Good luck to him. Hope he can rebuild his career.

2.) 16 Dec 2021 02:37:19
Agree VVVV - the lad paid a heavy, heavy price for one bad game and it was a game were he took a hefty smack on the head too.

Time for him to move on to hopefully better things.

3.) 16 Dec 2021 06:17:26
WDW, yes it may seem like he paid a heavy price for a very important game. It was very unfortunate but he needs to shoulder some responsibilities. If he doesn't feel fit to continue, he should have asked to be subbed out. So, ultimately he did cost us the game or at least he's the scapegoat.

He didn't do himself any favors as his loans stints did not work out well at all. So, I suppose that's why he doesn't really have suitors. I do pity him but he should just leave and try to restart his career.

4.) 16 Dec 2021 07:01:56
He was always iffy, we’re you ever confident with him between the sticks? The CL final just summed up that he wasn’t good enough and his after showed he didn’t really have the mentality to improve. Not good enough, earnt a lot of money, I’ll reserve my sympathies for those that deserve them.

5.) 16 Dec 2021 10:08:10
DAPred you do know what concussion is? The person carrying one does not know that. Good luck to the lad.

6.) 16 Dec 2021 12:14:09
I don't agree that he was always "iffy", Seano_. I thought he started his career here very well and at some points, I thought we had unearthed a gem, especially given his age when he arrived, he only just turned 25 after he got here.

I can excuse (but never forgive, sorry, that's just me! ) the CL final but he seems to be more interested in his image than his performances - LK1, social media etc.

That's why, IMO, he's never recovered from 2018 either with us or with other suiters. The most important attribute in any form of life is the few inches between the ears, and I just don't think Karius has the right approach.

I wish him well and I hope he learns what's really important.

7.) 16 Dec 2021 22:31:34
If he’d not been concussed and the game had taken a different path he would possibly be regarded a lot more kindly

As has been said @DA, someone who has been smacked on the head should be the last person on the planet to make a decision about fitness to carry on.

I think the ‘iffy’ is a retro thing to distance ourselves from ever thinking he wasn’t a bad goalie. He is nowhere near the best but he is by no means as bad as the story has it.

15 Aug 2021 16:40:24
Allison, Fabinho and Firmino to miss the Utd game after the international break. Quarantine.

Oh Mane Mane

1.) 15 Aug 2021 17:00:51
Is this serious?

2.) 15 Aug 2021 17:01:05
Isn't it only the Leeds game? If they came back to England straight away they could realistically play a part.

3.) 15 Aug 2021 17:04:30
Dont have to quarantine if double jabbed after tomorrow.

4.) 15 Aug 2021 17:05:15
Apparently so. Not good if it does turn out to be true.

5.) 15 Aug 2021 17:40:45
Pretty sure that Brazil is red listed, so they’d have to quarantine. Can’t even refuse to send them, thanks to FIFA. The thought of to Old Toilet without Alisson and Fabinho fills me with dread.

{Ed0666's Note - that’s why we bought Sanchez…oh wait 😱😢

6.) 15 Aug 2021 17:43:36
Is that true jkh1983?

7.) 15 Aug 2021 17:58:31
They will not be allowed to attend their internationals under FIFA C.V. rules so it will not be an issue. Jota will be alright because Portugal has switched their game to Italy but we have 4 other players impacted, including Naby playing in Guinea. Arsenal has 4 players impacted, City has 5, Tottenham has 4 and Everton has 5. I think most bosses will take the FIFA C.V. Rules option to not allow their players to go.

8.) 15 Aug 2021 18:00:09
Yes but it is for amber listed and those pinged. can't see it being allowed that we can be expected to be without 3 starting players due to this there will be changes even it that means a rescheduled date for the match.

9.) 15 Aug 2021 18:04:17
And even worse news is that they will be w/ o Fred!

10.) 15 Aug 2021 18:11:27
Thanks lads.

11.) 15 Aug 2021 17:58:35
Ed0666, Sanches have been injured anyway…oh wait!

{Ed0666's Note - yes I know I was being ironic.

12.) 15 Aug 2021 18:30:51
Reynard, FIFA have changed the rules apparently. So clubs can’t withhold players attending.

13.) 15 Aug 2021 19:05:28
VVVV - That's outrageous! It shouldn't be changed before the end of this year. If this is correct then I'd get a ruling from the government here to see if professional international players can receive a quarantine exemption based upon daily testing for the same period.

14.) 15 Aug 2021 17:22:25
Is this correct Ed’s?

{Ed002's Note - Players returning from Red List countries have to follow the guidance of the country they are returning to. Right now it would be yes.}

15.) 15 Aug 2021 17:22:25
Is this correct Ed’s?

16.) 15 Aug 2021 20:33:40
Scrap international games. Answer right there. Love final tournament football. Can live without it if damages bread and butter club football.

17.) 15 Aug 2021 20:39:18
Absolutely hate intl football leagues only starting back and we’ve this carry on.

18.) 15 Aug 2021 21:10:40
All of them can’t get in the Brazilian team. I am sure there is a way not to send them.

19.) 15 Aug 2021 23:18:07
Suppose the players want to go?

20.) 16 Aug 2021 08:12:24
We always seem to play them lot after an international break!

21.) 16 Aug 2021 12:43:13
Should we scrap the Champions League and world super cup? Or does that not count as international football?

22.) 16 Aug 2021 22:21:55
Surely there should be a caveat in the FIFA rules for this very scenario, why should club teams who pay the players wages be missing players for important games because of international games in the midst of a C.V., it’s ludicrous!

23.) 17 Aug 2021 06:43:43
Just play the internationals on FIFA 21. Or Zoom. Or not att all.

22 May 2022 14:42:07
I'm off to play golf so will be blissfully ignorant to the games today until just after 6. Remember, regardless of what happens today, we've one more massive game left next week and every club in Europe (except Real) would gladly swap places with us. Today doesn't define us.

Oh Mane Mane

1.) 22 May 2022 14:56:41
Enjoy. Hopefully you'll come back to something good.

2.) 22 May 2022 15:15:07
I'd be that bloody nervous I'd be in the bunker with every shot OMM😬.

3.) 22 May 2022 18:26:59
With my game, I’d be in the bunker regardless!

4.) 22 May 2022 18:52:35

16 May 2022 17:17:30
Kudos to Jake Daniels of Blackpool. Hopefully he's left alone to live his life.

Oh Mane Mane

1.) 16 May 2022 18:27:23
No wife no life. 😛.

2.) 16 May 2022 18:53:31
Hopefully he gets the respect he deserves.

{Ed025's Note - very much so pegleg..

3.) 16 May 2022 18:56:49
Amazing news today and all the best for him.
Hopefully the first of many more.

4.) 16 May 2022 19:02:42
Amazing news, I couldn’t be more proud of someone I am barely even aware of.

Football has always had a crippling problem with toxic masculinity and bigotry, going all the way back the days of rampant hooliganism. It’s getting better on almost every front but it’s relationship with sexuality and gender norms still remains a big issue.

Large swathes of fans, our own included, regularly endorse homophobic chanting and even this season some of the slander directed at Calvert-Lewin and Tom Davies for their dress sense and self expression has been disgraceful.

As someone who identifies as bisexual themselves, I have experienced first hand that the intersection between the Beautiful Game and queerness is a very uncomfortable one. I often feel at odds with ladly lads in expressing myself or my sexuality as it just isn’t often expected by them or something they’ve experienced before, and i’m often afraid of the misconceptions that come with that.

Even as a child, I was put off playing sunday league because of the intense masculine bullishness that came with it as it was something I never dealt with very well, something i’ve only managed to get over recently with dipping my toe into 9 a side, where I have been pleased to find that most people are very accepting, or the people i play with at least.

The same is true when hanging out with your LGBT friends, as they perceive football as a very toxic and masculine pastime and i worry of how my love of the game may effect how they perceive me. I try to explain to them that football is for everyone, and that just because there are problems with that sort of thing in the game at present, it does not mean we should just surrender it and give up, we should fight for a future in which all working class and marginalised groups are represented and respected within the game, so that everyone can enjoy it, but it is hard to get them to come around to it.

What Jake Daniels has done requires unbelievable bravery and really hope he can be a trailblazer for many like him, and for improving the issues which afflict the most popular sport in the world. There have been many rumours of England players who have wanted to come out but haven’t, and i really hope that this is a line in the sand for such a terrible thing to not continue any further.

A great day for football and for the world at large. Congratulations to the lad and I hope the rest of the country takes it as well as I hope they will.

{Ed025's Note - that’s a brilliant post AW. Kudos to you mate and I applaud your honesty and integrity..

5.) 16 May 2022 19:24:09
What he said👆.

6.) 16 May 2022 20:15:19
Absolutely mate. Football fans and even opposition players will use anything they can to wind a player up so this just shows how brave he is. If a player is good enough then who cares what his sexuality is.

7.) 16 May 2022 20:32:08
Agree. Very impressed by his courage at 17.

8.) 16 May 2022 18:42:35
Very brave of a 17 year old just starting out, I hope he has a long and happy career and can be an inspiration to plenty of others going forward.

9.) 16 May 2022 20:45:58
Bet there is many players out there probably household names who are gay, I think its a revolutionary move and could help others to come out.

10.) 16 May 2022 20:48:14
Very sorry I meant to give a thumbs up emoji 🤦👍.

11.) 16 May 2022 20:57:55
17? You're kidding me. I didn't read the articles just saw the headline and his photo. Good on him and good luck. Guy looks like he's 30 though. Pretty sure I looked about 14 when I was 17. Still, plenty of Liverpool pubs back then who only looked twice if you came in holding your mum's hand.

12.) 16 May 2022 22:43:36
Great post AW, respect to you. Wish Jake Daniels all the luck in the world for his future. Top young man.

We've come a long way since our own player shamed himself (I won't mention his name) . Still a long way to go, though.

13.) 16 May 2022 22:55:43
Fair play to the lad, but in today’s world it’d actually be braver to say he’s not that brave to say it. He’ll get plaudits and back slaps from all and sundry. Is it really that brave when practically everyone already supports you?

Now, if he’d have said he doesn’t support gay marriage or hates xyz type of people then that would be brave. It’s only brave if no ones got your back.

14.) 16 May 2022 23:05:43
Quo Vadis,

You seem like an educated and tolerant person.

The sad truth is many are not. And they will not “have his back”.

It’s a long uphil battle and football has hopefully taken a good step today.

{Ed0666's Note - We’ve gone round in circles since Justin Fashanu and our attitudes toward gay footballers. Sport is the only place in most of society where homosexuality isn’t tolerated or supported it’s seems which beggars belief. For me the kid from Blackpool is brave and has some Cajunas on him and I truly hope he goes on and has a stellar career without getting berated by idiots on the terraces. Because this truly is a seminal/watershed moment for athletes just not footballers!

15.) 16 May 2022 23:45:20
Yes i get that it is important, I’m just not sure its as big as people will make it out to be, but if he’s made more people comfortable in their own skin then that's great.

I am naturally a cynic, however, so for me, if a 17 year old, grown up in a generation where being “different” is a badge of honour then prior baggage just won't be a big issue. He’ll now be an instant celebrity, gain sponsors and offers aplenty and become poster boy for this and that cause all over. A New Years honour beckons sooner or later and all the rest…blah blah. Simply for saying he’s gay.

Those idiots on the terraces or on the keyboards who want to throw him or anyone else abuse need to stop being given credit for holding more power than they actually have. That’s all I’m saying. Treat it or any other label (for want of a better phrase) as bravery then you just keep giving the true idiots ammunition.

Might seem like I’m trolling but honestly all I really see is a great publicity stunt.

16.) 16 May 2022 23:53:22
Incredibly brave of the young lad that deserves (and will get) total support from all right minded human beings.

It is sad that society still regards it as ‘brave’ when someone feels that there is a need to make such a statement. It is to be sincerely hoped that in the (near) future the need will not be there as society will adopt a more informed, inclusive approach to ALL members of our society.

Respect to @Anonymous Woolback - great insight into your perspective and again, very brave and honest (as the author) and heartening for me as the reader to see such a contribution to the debate.

17.) 17 May 2022 01:24:28
Fantastic news on Jake Daniels coming out as gay, it’s the step football needed to become more inclusive. Football is a global brand and to think that no active professionals are gay or comfortable being identified as gay is shocking for society as a whole! I’m 35 now and for the first 15 years of my life had a football attached to me, I played in all the younger Irish leagues but stopped playing when I hit puberty and realised that I was gay, I didn’t drop out of the game because of my team mates who were all cool with me being gay but rather the lack of someone to look up to and idolise …I just couldn’t see a future in football; 20 years on I’m gutted that I didn’t have the courage Jake has shown and miss playing football a lot! I truely hope that Jakes actions will inspire the next generation to be brave! Great to see so many come out n support of his decision let’s hope the lad doesn’t get too much shift from the minority of morons in the crowd!

18.) 17 May 2022 07:22:07
The lad is brave for coming out to the public as he has opened himself up to the world to judge him and discuss his motives.

Personally I think who you sleep with shouldn’t matter, I couldn’t care less who anyone on here chooses to sleep with or anyone on the outside world. It is each individuals choice and should be respected either way.

The main thing football needs to tackle, which AW mentions, is the inclusivity of the game. Football is one of the greatest sports in the world but it does have barriers for certain people. For instance you couldn’t imagine a drag queen going to a game, they’d be heckled instantly. If one chose to now they’d try their best to fit in to avoid any confrontation.

In society we seem to have an obsession with labelling people, gay, non binary, black, white, etc etc. What needs to be shown is just acceptance of who others are and allow/ encourage others to be themselves. The more we label, the more we are divided. when in reality, strip us all back and we are all a bag of bones and all just want to enjoy the wild ride that is life.

19.) 17 May 2022 07:35:40
Justin Fashanu was treated like absolute trash. Even by his own brother who I never had any time for. I'm convinced Justin could've done a job for a top club but not many where prepares to take the risk. Hopefully attitudes are much more enlightened these days.

20.) 17 May 2022 07:40:00
It starts right here. The fans attitude. My son is gay. He hates football for all the obvious reasons.

I love my son. I love football. Why can’t they go together?

Woolback - kudos to you my friend.

21.) 17 May 2022 07:57:04
Quo- I kind of get what you are saying but your comments don't come off to well mate. I think you need to not be cynical and accept that the lad has decided to make a stand and shout from the rooftops for his own sanity and for the benefit of others in the game who are struggling etc.

22.) 17 May 2022 11:10:34
They say that when you're the first, or one of the first, in any particular endeavour in life, whether it is work, business, sports or anything else, you have a first mover's advantage. I've never seen it just this way. Aside from some advantage, I've always seen it as painting a giant bullseye on your back, because some parts of society, wherever you are, are always looking for targets. And nothing is easier to target than a giant bullseye. The non-conformists are always seen differently, and many are simply unable to accept deviations from their norms.

All the more reason why this man has tremendous testicular fortitude. Wish him luck and all the best.

23.) 17 May 2022 10:13:16
Cmon Quo Vadis, its a bit hard for the lad to go back in time to a more ‘challenging’ scenario. He is brave by any standard and i believe he's only the second current pro footballer to come out in public. It would be a lot easier to wait until a few more players did the same but he has come out as one of the front-runners and will probably get abuse from the occasional match day neanderthal because of it. Balls of steel if you ask me.

24.) 17 May 2022 11:59:34
It’s a brave decision by the lad. Hopefully he won’t be alone out there as more and more come forward with pride.

25.) 17 May 2022 15:57:20
So many comments on this thread is the problem. People still appreciating when lads and lasses come out -it is the problem. Suddenly the lad would start feeling he has done something which isn't normal. Stop appreciating someones personal preferences.
I have never been appreciated for making live to my wife. Not even by my wife.
In words of One called klopp please let the kid be the normal one. All this hype will just land him in a soup and invite misery he didn’t ask for.
Its personal let's keep it that way and normalise it. I hate it when lgbtq is still a story. In 2022 this should be normal not news.
Apologies for the rant but this is involuntary dissociation of the lad for something very natural. Its not a choice he has made, its his nature. Please stop complimenting and start normalising it.

26.) 17 May 2022 16:21:57
To get to normal we have to go through the stages mate. This is a wonderful stage. It’ll be tough on the kid but it’ll make it easier for the next kid after. And hopefully soon enough, it won’t be a big deal. You have to walk before you can run.

15 May 2022 14:26:59
I'll be in the minority here but I'd much rather lose the title on points difference than goal difference. That would be an absolute c*nt.

Oh Mane Mane

1.) 15 May 2022 14:40:09
Let's talk about winning it, for a change.

2.) 15 May 2022 14:41:12
Completely agree. losing on Goal Difference would be painful!

3.) 15 May 2022 14:49:00
It doesn’t matter either way. At least we’re not as far behind as Man United.

4.) 15 May 2022 14:53:20
They're irrelevant altogether VVVV.

5.) 15 May 2022 16:01:02
I've said it since we started closing the gap on city back in dec/ Jan. West ham challenging for Europe will take points and Gerrard wins it for us last game of the season.

Was o lying saying it tongue in cheek then but I'm actually starting to believe it. If villa play like they did against us I think they'll take points, city will be flapping now.

08 May 2022 17:13:40
Turn the City game off, spend time with your family. Go for a walk etc. No point tormenting yourself. It's the hope that kills.

Oh Mane Mane

1.) 08 May 2022 17:31:30
Never had any hope. 4 league titles in 5 seasons is no fluke or teams rolling over. They are an incredible team.

2.) 08 May 2022 17:52:20
Listen lad's it is what it is. As Meatloaf should have sang"3 out 4 ain't bad"👍😁.

3.) 08 May 2022 17:52:25
Was it that one second place finish that made you switch allegiances back Harry?

4.) 08 May 2022 18:06:56
It is the hope that kills. Newcastle, however , are a team that any local pub team full of drunks and pi$$heads could beat every day of the week. They are a soulless, prideless and gutless excuse of a team. they have no ambition or talent. They are an embarrassing waste of space. City could beat them by 9 goals if They want.
The league is over for us. We will loose to villa on Tuesday too. I couldn't care less about fa cup or champions league. It is the premier league or bust, and thanks to taa and salahs terrible performances yesterday, it is bust for us for yet another year.

5.) 08 May 2022 18:11:48
Harry can't lose, when you support every team that wins something, you can personally celebrate the quadruple every season!

6.) 08 May 2022 18:25:44
Dear king kev love the negative attitude we should definitely go for a hot chocolate.
Could talk for days about how bad our team is😉😉.

7.) 08 May 2022 18:26:40
Salah could have scored 5 goals yesterday, we'd still be behind City, hoping they slip up.

A 7th European Cup would make for a great season. A treble even better.

8.) 08 May 2022 18:33:16
City are a machine and very soon 4 title in 5 seasons. They're literally dominating the division have been for half a decade now.

You just have to see our own levels we are unbeaten for months and yet still trailing them 3 points which tells you about their consistent levels.

Hence people don't criticize him much coz what he's doing in EPL with City is going to go down forever in Epl history.

9.) 08 May 2022 18:39:13
Kingkev, do you actually support us? You're not like anyone who I'm surrounded by on the Kop.

10.) 08 May 2022 18:41:09
That's it Adam well said brother.

11.) 08 May 2022 18:41:57
Lads 😂 book your flights. Get your Pyros Pints and Baguettes. Bonjour. Common Tappelle Tu? Jus suis Champione de Europe. And all that…. Hahaha

12.) 08 May 2022 18:46:25
A 7th European Cup would be a great end to the season. Regardless on anything. Pep is dying to win it and I don’t care what he or his players say. It’s all very well being a flat track bully and pumping all and sundry from 6th place onward for 4 or 5 goals every week, but until you go and win old big ears you can’t say you’re amongst the great sides. Notwithstanding the financial doping issues, as let’s face, it’s not as if they’ve won things honestly and above board in context of their “funding”.

13.) 08 May 2022 19:26:29
Spot on VVVV. When you’ve got an oil nation behind you to the point you can out-lawyer the football authorities, not quite sure how level playing field it is at all. The situation at Chelski should have rung bells more than a decade ago. Call it what you like but FairPlay it isn’t.

14.) 08 May 2022 19:35:09
City are a great team but cheated ffp and paid for with arab slavery money so nothing they have won should count but the never ending prem investigation is still going and teams are robbed sadly.

15.) 08 May 2022 20:14:39
King Kev, I'll bet you are really fun at parties.

16.) 08 May 2022 20:16:42
It’s not over yet Jesus…….

17.) 08 May 2022 21:27:24
City can win all the trophies they want BUT they will NEVER get the respect and validation of others. Don’t believe me? Go listen to Pep’s comments after the game. Some of the most cringeworthy to bat crap crazy stuff I’ve ever heard from a manager who potentially just won the title.

The guy is in so much pain and desperate for the appreciation of others, whoever such people are. And should we we win the CL and the FA Cup, he’s really going to lose his ship.

18.) 08 May 2022 22:33:29
Let's not be bitter about City. Whoever wins the League will have earned it.
What's all this about TAA and Salah, Kev? Our top scorer and the one with the most assists. The League is won over 38 games and TAA and Salah are integral members of the squad that is the only one still challenging City for it.
Behave yourself.

06 May 2022 08:51:56
To say I'm disappointed in Klopp is an understatement. There was 2 finals at stake last night and we didn't show up at all.

Oh Mane Mane

1.) 06 May 2022 09:57:50
OP, we have a big squad BUT not that big. Besides, isn't playing in comps. you did not qualify for illegal? Just asking for a rival fan.

2.) 06 May 2022 14:33:16
Has Oli had a sense of humour transplant in place of an extra finger so he can reply to every single post?

3.) 06 May 2022 15:15:37
Stoneage, surely you jest. I have a very good sense of humor, I will have you know, lol. As for the extra finger, I can neither confirm nor deny such a possibility.

4.) 06 May 2022 17:20:04
Dig it, Oli.

5.) 06 May 2022 17:37:53
Well then Oli my friend FSG out. Whilst the quadruple would be a fantastic achievement winning all 6 would be better. I demand a squad big enough to win all competitions, especially the ones we aren't in. It's what real big clubs do.

6.) 07 May 2022 07:39:08
Ha ha! Oli, how do you find time to reply to every post my friend? Either you don't work or your boss is stevie wonder?! Lol.

7.) 07 May 2022 11:35:28
Marty, he could be the Boss. Bosses get away with anything and everything. 😉.

True Jadon but the other side of that is he wasn't one of the top players when he signed. He achieved it through excellent coaching, a great set up to get the best from him and his own dedication and hard work. That alone gives me hope that should he go then another player with his type of work ethic could step in and replace his goals. Who that player is I've no idea but I'll bet Klopp and company have him identified.

Noble idea LFCSTE29 but you'd find clubs only using 3 substitutions 99% of the time then.

{Ed002's Note - That approach is used elsewhere in Europe.}

Maybe they do Ed001 and this is part making up for it. Apparently he's going to be the u18's coach.

Oh Mane Mane

{Ed001's Note - I hope so, I know a lot has changed at the club since then, but he still deserves a proper apology at least, which he never got at the time.}

We've had this soap opera before with Gerrard. All it does is cause a distraction. Rodgers should have got rid of Gerrard as soon as he stated he was gone and Klopp should set Mo a deadline, sign by the 31st of July or go. Exceptional player but nobody is bigger than the club. Better players than him have left and we're still here.

No point in most of you watching football next season. According to yourselves it's going to be a procession for City and no other club have a chance. No point watching so. I'll check in next May to see who finished where.
